    An Intro and Questions

    Hello All,

I am very pleased to have found this site. It looks quite valuable. I am new to online gaming and have some newbie questions...

First off, I am an American but live in Asia. When I log onto various casino sites, it seems that I am red flagged because my banking and contact info is in the USA but I am obviously logging on from Asia. I was quickly locked out of several sites. I have tried proxy servers to no avail. Has anyone else had to deal with this?

Secondly, I am having a heck of a time figuring a way to fund my accounts - being a US person. Seems like the best option is UseMyWallet. How does one get a invite for this? I have sent several emails, but no response.

I'm also wondering how representative free play results are compared to money play? I have been doing quite well in free play (roulette), and am wondering how that will translate when I begin using real dough.

    Thanks for your thoughts.

    Joe

I think you best bet (no pun intended) for this would be to contact the each casino site manager or rep when signing up, via this link http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/showgroups.php OR via email and inform them of the situation so they can verify in writing you can indeed play at thier casino with no issues, considering most condemn US resident playing overseas.
Some don't allow US residents at all. (It seems there are different rules for different countries, I assume that would be one reason it is frowned upon, as well as many more.) If you inform them I dont see why they won't let you play, or unlock your account for that matter.

For this you need the casino to send the invitation to sign up there. I believe fortune lounge, Club World, and Inetbet can send invites for the most popular ewallets to the player.

IMHO freeplay does not even compare to real. But that's my opinion.

I would like to explore this further. Do you mean they don't compare because of the emotions involved when playing with real money, or do you mean the odds are different when using free play? I understand that they may make slots looser for free play, but I am specifically referring to roulette. I would think that the wheel is either random or it isn't.

    Thanks.

    how very true kakata!

I don't know about roulette. I never play that in real mode. I guess it depends on "where" you play. Just be sure to stick to Casinomeisters Accredited section! http://www.casinomeister.com/casinos.php

I am sure other members can be more informative on Roulette though
    and Good Luck!

    hey there,
think I'm about the same place as you, using free play roulette and doing ok, not winning huge but some wins. so have you started playing for real and if so, is free play the same as playing for money?

Welcome to the forum. You do not say where in Asia you are...some Asian countries are excluded at most casinos.

If you are not living in a banned country, perhaps you could try opening an account at a local bank.

Roulette should play the same in fun mode, but you may be on the money that you play differently with your own hard-earned dollars.

And please be careful when joining a casino that you read the terms and conditions carefully, and especially for bonus offers. Some offers exclude roulette, or allow roulette, but only on number bets.
