Okay, as promised here is the first of several forum contests - this is to become the forum's Tag Meister! This is how it goes:

Sorry, but this is for Full Members, Experienced Members, Senior Members, Meister Members, and Ueber Meister Members only.

The member who creates the most tags by Midnight (Central European Time) 23 December 2011 wins an Amazon.com coupon worth $35 (or an equivalent at .co.uk, .it, .de, etc.)

This is all you have to do: scroll down at the bottom of any thread and you will see "Tags for this Thread" and "add/edit" tags. Just click the tag link and post a tag. What is a tag? It's a word or short term (25 characters or less) that describes the thread. Preferably it's not something found in the title, but is a theme or issue that is brought up during the discussion - something you would find helpful if you had to search for it. It can be as simple as "RTP explained" or "Topgame meltdown" - just so it pertains to the thread and is not offensive, flamey, or bogus. Tags assist everyone in the forum by pinpointing threads for searching in the Tag Cloud located here:

You receive one point for each tag you make. Highest score wins.

Scroll down and you'll see the "Points for threads" section. On the bottom left is the "Points for tagging threads" - you can see the PRK is in the lead at the moment, but he doesn't count since he's an i-Gaming Rep and not in the contest As you start to tag threads, hopefully you'll begin to appear in the top ten.

We also have three "Achievements" you can attain - Tagger Tenderfoot (1-49 tags), TagMeister 2nd Class (50-99 tags), TagMeister 1st Class (+100 tags). As you guys start getting busy and we'll have to come up with higher levels of meisterly tagging categories - and give you incentives to get there

The Screenhots-o-rama forum is not included, but all others are. Please remember, nothing flamey, nothing bogus, be creative, be helpful - be smart.

The points for tagging don't seem to be working for me?
I spent over 2 hours last night(was very bored and nothing on telly!) tagging threads and my points didn't change at all. Dianne's points went up alot though? I tagged threads in the online casino section and would've done well over 60 threads or more and got no points at all.

Did I do it wrong?
Is it not working right?




Just thought I'd bring this to your attention!
