Exclamation Rule 1.17 - Exploiting Your Membership

1.17 - Exploiting Your Membership. Do not threaten casino operations with blackmail. Mentioning that you are a member is fine, but don't try to instill fear in a casino operation by threatening to post bad reviews or roguing them. Leave the roguing to Casinomeister - it's tricky business and not for amateurs.
    http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/...rules.php#1.17

Using your membership as leverage against casino operations has always been frowned upon, but we've had to spell this out in our rules.

Please don't do this - besides being totally uncool, it makes our membership appear to be a bunch of blackmailing problem children. Thank you for your compliance.

Without mentioning that we are members, how the f*** shall we get our money we are entitled to ?

Just kidding. To use the Casinomeister membership in the way you describes, are almost as bad as being a rouge casino. Such behavior damages the reputation of the forum.

FWIW, I see a fair amount of it from the PAB side of things, increasingly so it seems. Personally I'm happy to see this spelled out in the Forum Rules.

Like Max said, we get this a lot in the complaints arena. And we had a member recently telling a casino that I told her to write a review about them, and that they would not like to be in the rogue pit. She didn't get the bonus she was hoping for

Ok, so did I break any rules by telling a casino that I AM Bryan Bailey and that I OWN Casinomeister.com?

As a webmaster it is actually quite handy in dealing with affiliate programs who want to get on your site or sites to come out with the line:

" Are you accredited on Casinomeister? "

It means Bryan ends up getting hassled instead.

There's just no end to what some people will pull. Didn't their mommas teach them anything?

We should try to resolve things amicably before attempting to post of issues.

Blackmailing is NOT the way to go. I noted yesterday that some of the Rogue Casinos are also part of this Blackmailing stable....

'If you post a complaint, we will not deal with you further'... No rewards for correct guesses on which Group this is

If any members are dealt with this way, they need to let me know asap via PM or email. That's a fast track to the rogue pit. And if they are pitified already - then this is something I need to know in case the casino wants to go on probation.
