Should the Admins here be more involved?

Hiya: I did a little survey/review and found this. For every 35 post, "on line casino section only", 5 are Good type post, 10 are just general questions and such, and 20 are Negative/bad.

A lot of the, "Bad" type post, we never get an answer to. There are a lot of post asking, "I hope the casino rep here chimes in" request, and more often than not, they don't.

Why do i have to send documents in the mail to the Philippines?
I Won, why can't you just send me a check?
Why is my Western Union deposit, being sent to a 3rd world country instead of to your country?
    All Bonus type issues?
and on an on like this..........................

So, Busy as they are, Should the Board Admins get more involved, or be more aggresive, in getting Accredited casino's to provide information on the above mentioned topics, and others, OR, it this ALL the players responsibility?

I can only speak for myself, players are armed with the information to contact reps of the accredited casinos directly. This is available on the site here:

    http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/showroster.php

That should really be your first port of call, if you need to get hold of a rep and they are not responding in a particular thread.

Obviously if you do not get a response then let one of us know - Ideally Bryan or Max in the first instance. As myself and Simmo! work on our own sites and are not here as often.

We also do not read every post on the forum, so if there are issues that you believe a moderator needs to attend to, then either use the report post facility, or send one of us a PM.

In case anyone is wondering what/where that is:

I should also mention that when you say "Should the Board Admins get more involved" what you are really asking is "should Bryan be more involved". Simmo and Webzcas are guest moderators here and my first and full-time job is the Pitch-A-Bitch area. That leaves Bryan to manage the site, update content, manage the boards, handle the business, go to the conferences, oversee the Pitch-A-Bitch action, yadda yadda yadda.

I just mention this because I think you need to have a crystal clear picture of what it is that you're asking for here.

Hiya: Thanks for replying. My main point is this, If the thread title was changed to, "Should Casino Reps be more involved here"? I doupt that there would be 2 responces from Casino reps total?

Also, I am NOT asking anything. I made a Poll to see what the majority of this board thinks. Why did i do this? Example: INetbet. In their banking section they list withdraw options. Some of them have a note added to them.
Withdraw via Neteller is not available to residents of the USA, as example.
Withdraw via Overnight Express has NO mention at all, that this option is also NOT available to residents in the USA. I mentioned this to them via E Mail, and was told they would pass it on to Management. But would not this type of Request carry a lot more weight if it came from Casinomeister instead of just a player?

Would not OnLine casino's be more open to providing answers to Casinomeister than they are to us players? In the End, would this not actually create LESS work for all the Admins here, as there would be less issues, "a lot of the same ones over n over again", to deal with?

This makes no difference at all to me, as i have No issues, and never had that I could not take care of myself. I am only asking what board members here, "Think", about all the different issues that keep coming up with Acredited casino's, and other Casino's that are not in the Pit.

I agree somthing needs to be done about the repetitive issues in the online casino's forum but I don't think Admins moving them is the solution. We all know alot can be answered in the FAQ but who looks there???? NOBODY !!!!

people want a quick answer with no effort and most of us are happy to help.
I think the only thing that would work is a cleverly titled forum that people would be drawn to with these questions or ....... we stop answering and respond with a referral to FAQ. Or....... a sticky post advising FAQ and the forum should be searched first before posting a question. (not that anybody will do it but.......gives a polite out for deleting a post)

Surely Maxd will get on it because server storage does cost money maybe he'll get a raise if he saves a few bucks every month.

On a lighter note lovetowinalot at least this forum isn't totally cluttered with shills and spam like alot of the others who in hell would wanna wade through that????? Here our admins kick em to the curb.

I think your totally right about the clutter though we just need a solution new members/ first time posters won't be offended by.

And I don't think too much can be done to get casino reps to respond or do SFA really. Maybe alot is office politics on their end because we may not like the answer we get or it may hurt business if answered at all. We're all pretty good at taking offence to piss poor excuses and becoming a little touchy when we don't get it straight.

Think of em as all trying to be elected president they can't say anything because anything could be misconstrued. The only solution to that would be a forum where ONLY casino rep's can post replies (anyone can ask a question)and they can do so aynonymously. I'd kinda like to see that soon myself.

Sorry, I do PABs, and a bit of forum management when B is absent, but mostly I'm PABs. How is this a PAB issue? If it is I'll be happy to address it, otherwise Bryan is your man.

Yeah yeah I know sorry Max I think alot of us assumed you were the techie because you were opposed to some suggestions awhile back that would have created forum maintenance and it appeared as though you were the guy who's work load would be increasing by the stance you took. Now we know your exclusively PAB guy which is great, Means we're not counting on a plumber to do the wiring.

You mean the Casino standards thread? Think you misunderstood what I was driving at there but no worries. The Accred list is directly related to my PAB work so I do have a stake in what happens with it.

    Regards this point:

because server storage does cost money.
Disk space is not an issue and has never been an issue with Casinomeister. Bryan hosts Casinomeister on his own dedicated server. Therefore using more disk space does not cost more money as it is already paid for.
