Quite true. Take Cassava for instance: now and for the foreseeable future all PABs filed against their sites will be set aside as "No Can Do", aka NCD, cases. NCD cases are not (currently) used to tally the 'Software Provider' stats so Cassava will, for all intents and purposes, appear to have a clean record. Not exactly an accurate representation of the situation.

Another example, even worse in some ways is the Imperial E-Club group of casinos. These guys have a standing habit of dealing with a complaint presented to them behind closed doors. So the process is the PAB comes in, I submit it, I get a form letter back saying "we're looking into it" and then dead silence from all parties.

Why? Because, and I have proof of this in at least one recent case, the casinos involved make their resolution of the case contingent on the OP's silence: the OP is literally told "we'll pay you but only if you do not communicate with Casinomeister from this point forward". So of course the OP clams up on us, the case ages, eventually gets flagged as 'OP AWOL', dumped in the 'resolution not possible' slot of the stats and is counted no further.

(In case you're wondering Imperial E-Club are prime candidates for being added to the "No Can Do" list.)

So yes, in some ways a high number in the 'Software Provider' area is actually a good thing, kind of, because to a significant degree it includes cases that were valid complaints that got resolved.

Oy vey, this crap makes my head hurt.

I can see why (the headache)

It sure galls that some of these companies can to a large extent get away with simply clamming up and coercing the player to do the same in return for payment.

And it's such a short-sighted tactic - being prepared to consider player disputes and to redress unfair rulings is a good thing that resonates positively with the player community and should be regarded with pride rather than subterfuge.

'Galling' is mos'def the word for it. In the case where Imperial had basically gagged the player I explained to the player that their full and unquestioning cooperation was basically insuring that Imperial would continue to use their tactics against other players.

Not surprisingly their response was "yeah, but I get paid". I said "this time maybe, what about next time?" No response. What can you do with crap like that?

Needless to say Imperial is not my favourite casino group.

have given false and misleading information to open their casino accounts. Thus, they have been banned from the forum...forever.

Two other members were using Embalu's computer in this forum, thus they've been banned as well: Mario77, Joska.

The Finnish players are still "works in progress". We'll keep you updated...

A long awaited closure for Embalu... after almost a year and a half...with Rushmore Casino, under pressure from numerous webmasters and industry people... finally reviewing all the proof provided by Embalu that no fraud was commited... have decided to pay him the $7444 winnings he rightfully was due.

This was the statement issued by Rushmore rep Louise:

I come with good news however! The player had been paid the remainder of his balance to his Moneybookers account. This was sent 15 minutes ago to him and he has been emailed to notify him of this and explain the amount he
    received.

We were extremely certain that his case was fraud but after further
extensive investigation, he has cleared himself if this. He was very
co-operative with us and showed us a lot of his information such as bank
statements and Moneybookers screen shots, so we feel pretty good to have
cleared him of what was suspected of him.

This can be made public knowledge now.

    All the best.

    Thanks,

    Louise.

The people that played the biggest part in getting Embalu paid... were Caruso... Mojo... and Steve Russo.

    Nice job, guys!!

Well, how about that! I'll be commenting more on this later.

Consequently, Rushmore has just been removed from the Accredited section; Embalu's account has been reinstated.
