Exclamation Bogus accounts in the forum - it's clean-up time

Just a heads up that rule 1.9 is and always has been in effect
    http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/forum_rules.php

Please do not open up more than one account in the forum. I am aware that there are a few people who share their computer with their girlfriend/boyfriend/partner/husband/wife etc. And each person has their own account. That's cool, and I am aware of most of these cases. (I see you with my magic mirror) There are also some members who have progressed from "player" to "I-gaming rep" that's cool too - just so you make me aware of this ahead of time.

    What is uncool

Using accounts to have conversations with oneself. We have enough characters here to provide ample entertainment so no need for that.

Using bogus accounts to PAB. You will more than likely find yourself banned for this.

Using bogus accounts to flame, complain, and wreck havoc amongst the peace and tranquility of normal issues and conversation.

Simply put: one account per member. No more; no less.

If you feel that you fall into the category of what is "cool", please PM me and remind me to make a note of this. Thanks!

If you fall in the category of "uncool" ...well, see ya later alligator.

Casinomeister, I have another screen name but I never used it, it's Luigi8100,
when my lap top broke I had to use my desk computer and everytime I tried to sign on under Luigi810 it wouldn't let me so I thought I had to make up another screen name and when I did (Luigi8100) I couldn't sign on under the new name either, about a week later I tried again under Luigi810 and I got in.
Sorry about that I am guilty

Operators: If you don't know what Transparency means, then here you go.....now how about practicing it?

Transparency, as used in the humanities and in a social context more generally, implies openness, communication, and accountability. It is a metaphorical extension of the meaning a "transparent" object is one that can be seen through. ...

Today was a bit of cleaning house - 24 accounts were identified as bogus - most of these were involved in casino complaints in some form or another and some were actual PABs.

Why am I taking this so seriously? Casinomeister's forum is crucial for players to gather information and to share experiences concerning online gaming. It is also a focal point for solving problems; it's the only place for hundreds if not thousands of players to seek guidance and assistance with their issues if need be.

Unfortunately, there are some people who have no respect for their fellow members - nor for the website itself, and will only enter a conversation if it serves their agenda; albeit damaging a casino's reputation and business, coercing casinos to hand out bonuses or winnings by complaining in public, and other PITA situations.

Phony accounts, bogus claims, and deceit dilute the power of this forum, and I take this pretty damn seriously.

The bottom line is - do not think you won't get caught screwing around here. You will be nailed, sooner or later, and I will banish you from this forum.

And if the shoe fits - wear it
