Stats on forum home page

Are there any stats you would find helpful/would like to see on the forum top home page? Right now I have "top posters", "new members" and "new posts/threads". Are there any other stats you'd like to see? If so, let me know.

perhaps newest photos posted (i think you put a photo search feature on, but a front page alert when new pics go up would be cool)? users with the most friends? maybe a running total of how many spammers have been blasted off the site.

maybe a more intricate version of "top thanked" by making it only thanks received within the last month or 90 days, to see who the current "heroes" of the forum are. cuz the top five overall thanked is probably not going to change unless they all go away for a long time, hence i think why you replaced it with "top posters".

that's all i can think of right now.

There is the "All Albums" link that shows the latest photo albums being uploaded. This is not yet an option with the stats, but it may be in the future.

I'm still messing with this. At the moment I have "top posters" cut off at 90 days.

Actually, there is an option for top "Infractions", but the moderators and I haven't used the infraction system that much.

I'd quite like to see the Thread Title expanded to a few more characters if there is room.

I expanded it from 18 characters to 25. If you mouse over the title, you get the title in its entirety.

That would be a high total wouldn't it?


Edit....what about that "agree" button that was talked about a while back? Instead of just having the "thanks" button.

once folks start blogging on here, "most frequentest bloggers" would befit the top stats page.

maybe some kind of random (daily/weekly/sporadic) stat, like "top norwegian posters" or even made-up funny ones like "top beer drinkers" or "most annoying cavemen"

i'm tired. dang i should have blogged that comment. lol

A few times, when I have noticed that members have been banned, I will follow the link, ex; rule 1.1 and refresh myself with that rule, I usually am curious to find out exactly what that particular poster said or did to get banned, a link to the thread that caused the banishment would help and I think possibly help give members a wake up call. Is this to demeaning? Is the fact that they are banned and this is shown for all to see more then enough embarrassment? I just like to know out of curiousity and to refresh myself with the rules. This would not be meant to humilate or embarrass that member. just a thought
