I know everyone thinks BODOG walks on water when it comes to poker at least and I agree with that.
However when it comes to their casino some very strange things happen. Once your bets get over about $25 per play the losing % increases tremedously. This is not just a fluke based on some light betting on my part. It happens continuously. The Meister needs to look into this. I have erased their site from my stable of gambling sites because I believe they have manipulated their software to cause this to happen. What a rip off

Is this an issue w/the slot games or with any game? The only casino game i really ever play is roulette and 90% of the time its at bodog. I personally have had a lot of success there and almost always pick up my payout the same day i request it. But slots, that's not my thing. So, i;m not saying your wrong, just that bodog has always been more than fair to me. Nonetheless, I wish you the best.

i've experienced this also since about one year now, that i could never get any win and surely not get at one timem at least a little bit about my starting balance, although i've deposited there very often $50 but i had even every often not at least any free spins/bonus round on the slots with only 20 cent bets!

but before i had very often also good wins and could play sometimes even with only $50 some hours, but now the money went so fast, although they have no turbo play option, because of their very old software and the old games!

i've never played there since a half year, because there must be really something wrong and as you can see, the Random jackpots didn't go up as fast, as before 1-2 years, so i think they've lost finally very much loyal players!

Wow. Couldn't get past three whole words without a comment, huh?

My point was that the OP deliberately made their thread title in caps to get attention over everyone else - which is tantamount to shouting over the top of someone - which is rude.

Not sure what the personal jibe is all about Kenny - having a bad day?

Thread title 'corrected' to more conventional lettering, as I always do.

@zippedup: FYI, when you type in ALL CAPS LIKE THIS it is generally considered to be 'shouting' and rude, at least by those of us who live on the web. Nifty has said as much above.

@Kenny Lingus: How is "Couldn't get past three whole words ...." a worthwhile contribution to this discussion? As I read it it is not and is simply an unnecessary attack on a fellow member. Please don't.

I certainly don't think that Bodog "walks on water"....and keep a suspicious eye on all play that I do there (and anywhere). However, I play mostly pick-em poker and when I build up enough to switch to $25/hand, I have not found any significant drop in percentage of wins.....or change in the apparent RNG deals. Just my opinion.:D

C'mon guys or gals BODOG is a good casino........

I just returned from a trip and immediately deposited $100 each in 2 of the most liked casino here at the forum I played $1.00 per spin (I usually only start at 60 cents) and in less than 10 minutes I had to go to 3 dice to play video poker Also busted out So its not the casino Its the timing, luck, game etc etc

Not worth arguing about

We all have our opinions it seems on this. I see no point in the discussion even continuting. There are those that like BODOG and those who don't.

For those that like BODOG they can continue to play there. For those of us who don't we will move on to anonther casino. End of story!

It wouldnt suprise me if every casino manipulated their software for their own wealth gain. Afterall they only open the casinos to make money!

Sorry, but playing with $1 bets on only a $100 starting balance is self destruction on every RTG slot, so 10 minutes playtim eis even very much for this bet size on dthis small deposit, compared with the bet size, because it's the same like 20 cent bets on a $20 deposit, so you can't win there anything, because even a $50 balance with only 20 cent bets went down to zero within no time and without any free spins on bodog ;)

I have played at Bodog for over 4 years, mostly slots. I have to agree that something is going on since the split with RTG. I haven't wone anything there. I used to cash out on a regular basis. Haven't come close in a long time! I also have deleted their software. As for the christmas bonus, POOR taste! The only thing to do is show OUR appreciation with lack of deopsits!

I have never won a dime on anything on bodog. I play everything on there, Worst RTG ive ever seen. I myself believe that they think they can do whatever they want because they corner the market on everytype of gambling known to man. I personally dont trust them.

Not that anybody cares how much money I've made because I'm sure it's nothing compared to some of ya'll, but I've had over $15,000 of cashouts from Bodog since may. All of it playing roulette. My point is that it has got to be a fair casino if a person can win that consistently, especially at roulette.

Isn't it Bodog that doesn't have the "Stop Spin" feature on their slots?

No, they have only the very old slots and the very slow pay, but even with the slow play, you have always very less time to play, because their payout% is not more then n20% or so and they were even very good before one year or so, but since that something has really changed, because their slots never pay out anything and you get really very rarly bonus rounds/free spins and they pay always out nearly nothing

I don't have Bodog installed on my PC anymore but I just checked their site and their sample slots don't have the Stop feature. I didn't know they were severed from RTG but I thought I was right when I said no "Stop" on slots. I like the "Stop" thingy whether or not it helps or hurts, I'm just an impatient SOB. You know how when you open a live chat and the support person says, "Thank you for your patience"? I always ask, "What patience?"

I haven't played at Bodog for many months now, but that wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Even their progressives are drastically lower than other RTG casinos, because of the fact that they're not on the RTG network at all. They're also the last to add new games, too.

For those two reasons I stated above, I have no idea why people continue to play at Bodog...

and FWIW, their poker client SUCKS. It's the worst I've ever seen, and I've played at quite at quite a few poker networks over the years.

I'm up overall at Bodog, but it's mostly from poker winnings. I do like the fact that you can transfer poker monies to the casino and vise-versa, but I still refuse to play there any longer.

and as far as the odd blackjack experiences go, this is typical for RTG in general, not just Bodog. I wouldn't touch RTG's blackjack games with a 10 foot pole.

I didn't know they were severed from RTG

Hey there, just to explain the Bodog Casino software and RTG relationship, I'd like to pass on a quote from the Casino product manager of BodogBrand.com:

"The casino software licensed to Bodog brand licensees is no longer accurately described as the RTG Casino product. BodogBrand acquired the rights to the RTG Casino source code in early 2007 and, since then, the product has been significantly enhanced and has undergone continuous development. Today, the casino platform licensed to the Bodog brand licensees is effectively a wholly proprietary product. Moreover, the divergence between the game portfolio and look and feel of standard RTG licensees and the brand licensees proprietary product will be increasingly apparent as new bespoke games are under active development and significant upgrades to the instant play lobby and downloadable client are imminent. The proprietary products Casino RNG was certified by Gaming Associates as recently as April of 2008".

Please let me know if you have any questions,
Becky

I'm sorry to hear that you feel this way, but I do want to mention that

Well, for starters, the table GUI is horrible. Sorry, but it looks like a 12 year old designed it.

And then a few weeks ago I thought I'd give one of Bodog's freerolls a try. What a waste of my time. The client continually froze on me, to the point of having to force the client closed via task mgr and restarting it.

Oh, and also, cashouts are faster than anyone else, no muss, no fuss.

Really? How fast are they paying out now? I've always gotten checks from PokerStars within 4 days of my request. They never ask for documents or anything, even if you use a debit/cc to deposit.

I just checked Bodog's cashier, and they not only quote 4-7 business days, but they also only allow you one free check per month. If you want WU, then you might get it faster, but you have to pay some pretty steep fees for this, and can use it once every 7 days.

wu:

Payout Amount Fee
$100 - $200 $40
$201 - $500 $50
$501 - $1000 $80
$1001 - $3000 $150

note: the normal WU fees for sending up to $200 is $20....half of what Bodog wants. I could understand them adding a little vig for this service, but an extra 100%?

but anyways, I'm not here to try and change anyone's mind about playing there. I'm just stating my opinion about them.

It's true that you get only one free payout per month, but for the fee, they fedex checks to you overnight. And it's not like other sites where they fedex it overnight "AFTER we have finished spending a day or two proceesing a check payout demand to send to the check processor and they need a couple days to process that and send us back your check" so that we can fedex it to you - no, it's a matter of three or four days from payout to check in hand.

Yes, WU is expensive - I haven't done it yet, though if I could get that as my preferred method and with lower fees, I would love that.

Ditto. I'm just saying, I've played all the US-friendly softwares, and most all of the 'white labels' within each category, and Bodog is on my short list, along with Full Tilt and Box24 - i.e., if I have entertainment money, and if it is in short supply, it is likely to get put on Bodog.

Don't let Ghost hear you say that.:eek2:

All casino games favour the house, some enormously so. Casinos don't need to cheat to make money, they just need to open their doors to let the punters play.

So whats like the average turn around time for getting a WU or a Check sent to the US? Also are documents required to cash out or no?

In my experience, three days. Yes, the verification procedure is painstaking and can take time, but since I was verified, I have had absolutely no problems getting paid. As a matter of fact, I had an issue, got them on the phone (yes, they have a phone number), and they cleared it up immediately and cheerfully. I really like Bodog.

Yea, every time i use a cc i have never used before, that is the only time docs are required. I always receive my WU transfer pickup details within a matter of hours after a payout request. A check has never taken longer than 3 days to get to my house. I have been using Bodog for almost 2 years and this is my experience time in and time out. Consistently.

Hey there, I spoke directly with the VP of Bodog Network about your complaint above. He assured me that this is a rare problem but his team is working on gradually reducing the memory usage of the poker client. Hopefully this will solve the problem for you.

Hi again, I spoke with the Bodog casino manager about your complaints and I have a few facts to share with you and the group. The goal of his team is to bring the best games in the industry to Bodog Casino so that all players will have a great selection of fun games to choose from. In order to make this happen:

-In late January, Bodog Casino be adding a whole set of 40 new games. This set will include great table games, exciting video pokers, fast and furious slots, and a lot of fun specialty games.

-In April, Bodog Casino will release the first of a series of very cool new games that will be EXCLUSIVE to the Bodog Casino and available only to "Bodog" players. Games in this series will be released every 3-4 months after the initial release in April.

-Over the coming weeks you will see an extreme renovation of the Bodog Casino lobby. Bodog Casino will be adding a whole slew of powerful features to make finding and playing games simple, fun, and exciting.

-This should go without saying, but over the coming days, weeks, months, and years, Bodog Casino will continue to look for and develop more games to excite and entertain "Bodog" players. This is always top of mind within the Bodog Casino team.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Becky
