Belle Rock just keep on doing this.

Yet again, I have received SOMEONE ELSE'S ACCOUNT NUMBER AND NAME in a Belle Rock promotional Email.

I have often complained about this, but it seems Belle Rock simply do not understand how SERIOUS a privacy breach this can be, and continue to treat it as something to apologise about when it ocurrs, but without addressing the underlying causes.

It is VERY SIMPLE, how the bloody hell is it so hard to check by cross referencing the account number with the outbound Email address to which the promotion is being sent. Whatever other errors might lead to this problem, in the end there is a unique relationship between my Email address and my true account number. Back referencing from either in a final check should arrest such an error in it's tracks, and prevent ANY player from receiving an Email with other than their own personal information.

To say that first name & account No alone presents no real risk is not good enough (their usual platitude), it IS possible to trick CS into revealing enough information to hack the account, it has been done before, although it USUALLY fails, all it takes is a little inexperience on the part of CS (not something Belle Rock are short of), and a clever scammer trying to winkle out a change of Email and a password reset.

I informed Bellerock of a similar mistake quite some time ago. I think (although I did not try), that I could have just gone into the account & claimed & played promo thru the link provided.

They did not even acknowlege receipt of my e-mail.
