Angry Anyone else getting phone calls from POC

This is really getting old...... at least once a week I'm getting a recording message from Palace of Chance offering me a bonus and no I don't play there anymore. Like most.....I didn't after I found Casinomeister. The software was removed from my computer 1 1/2 years ago.

I do have caller ID but the phone # doesn't have unknown caller on the display. The prefix is one that I'm familiar with so if I don't check closely I tend to answer them. If I don't answer they leave a message. Then I get to listen to a bitch session about casino's calling me.

    It's really pissing me off!

    Any suggestions?

I keep getting them from Club Player. Just today I received another one but there have been days that I'd check my voice mail and there'd be 4 messages from them in one day.
If I don't know a number that is showing up on my cell, I don't answer it. Way I see it, if its important enough they will leave a voice message which Club Player always do lol.
I don't give the message a chance to finish, I press good old #7 and erase it

    RE:

I emailed the manager and let him know how rude this is. Number 1:Making calls to get business is plain out silly. #2:If you do have to make calls, at least put a human on the other end. I ended up telling them I wouldn't deposit a dime into a virtual casino. At one time, POC was decent. But in 06 they were bought out by Virtual.

You could always change your number BB, I know that's drastic and last choice but I had to do that about six years ago because of the same problem with that ROGUE bunch, when I did finally change it I also had it private or unlisted, good luck

Yes, shop them to the DoJ since you don't play there any more. If they are showing up on caller ID, they can be traced. This should allow the source of the marketing to be traced, which may not be where the casino operates from (Costa Rica). If it is a US prefix, better still, you could pretty much kill this particular campaign for ALL players who are being bothered.
As far as the DoJ are concerned, these calls are an attempt to procure your participation in a CRIMINAL ACT, and their sheer persistence should get them interested.
Since you have caller ID displayed, it might be worth looking at your handset to see if by adding the number into your contacts list you can make it display as "Palace of Chance" or "Virtual Casinos" rather than just the number. This would make ignoring the calls easier, leaving you only with having to delete the messages.
Some phone providers can allow you to block incoming calls from specific numbers, but usually they charge for the service, and the group may well change numbers if they see too many players doing this. It may be why they don't use an anonymous calling ID, as many such calls would be blocked.

If you don't answer, do they leave a message? I'm sure the DoJ would love to hear their bonus pitch
Operators: If you don't know what Transparency means, then here you go.....now how about practicing it?

Transparency, as used in the humanities and in a social context more generally, implies openness, communication, and accountability. It is a metaphorical extension of the meaning a "transparent" object is one that can be seen through. ...

It really grates on my nerves how these IDIOTS think that tactics like this will IMPROVE the chances of online gambling being regulated in the US. F***in' morons!

They do leave a message. Someone on the forum gave me the manager's email and I kindly asked to be taken off the list, although kindly is not how I wanted to ask. I'll post an update if they continue.

I received a live call recently from Clubplayer and told the guy on the other end of the line my family doesn't know about my gambling and if they find out, I'll surely won't be playing any more. That seemed to work in getting my number off their list.

That's a good one! I've got to think of something similar for the beastly tele-marketers that keep calling at supper time.
