Winnings declared void, honest mistake - opinions?

    Hi all,

it is not really a complaint I'm posting today, much more just a question.
I won't name the casino, just the facts that happened.

I took a small % slots bonus at a very reputable casino, they are accredited here. I happened to hit the bingo - 100 free spins at 3x, and two re-triggers. After that, I had a balance of $4,400 of off a $100 deposit.
After this big win I still had to wager about $2,000 where only certain slots were allowed. I tried a broad variety of slots, I guess I bet around $3-4,000 more and ended with $4,300 in my account where I decided to request a cashout.

Now the casino cancelled my winnings as I played some spins on an excluded slot (it was AFTER the big win and it was I guess only about 20 spins as I noticed very fast I was playing an excluded slot when I immediately stopped playing it).

I know it was my fault and I know the casino is absolutely right in applying their T&C correctly however I didn't do this to "abuse" or "squeeze" the bonus and there was in fact not a single advantage for me by playing this slot instead of another.
It happened to me as there were about 10 slots allowed to play and this (excluded) slot has a name that is very similar to another (which was included).

Just today am I able to write here what happened as I felt paralized for the last few days about what happened.
I understand the casino is totally correct in his decision but as I just made an honest mistake without bad intentions and without any benefit for me do you think I might have still a chance to get (partially?) paid?

So you accept the casinos decision, and you admit they were in the right......but you don't, and you half-think they aren't.

You need to either accept the decision, or STOP posting and:

    1. Contact the rep at CM, and if you get no joy, then

    2. Submit a PAB

Every word you post from here onwards damages your chances of a resolution.

I do sympathize, I've almost done it a few times. I now write the allowed slots down and stick it on my monitor to use as my "menu"

Interesting scenario, but not entirely impossible for the Casino to overlook. It really depends on the Casino whether this decision will be reviewed. In my personal opinion, accredited or not, simple mistakes are simply NOT overlooked by some Casinos. Some of them will PUNISH you while others will honor your withdrawal.

I suspect who this outfit is, and I'm sure that you will name them eventually. If you get your winnings you would be very fortunate. Maybe try Pm'ing the rep for the Casino and 'Hope' that they will honor it.
