It not very smart to put your accountname in here.

Read the T&C. If it says you can't claim it if the last transaction was a free chip, than you shouldn't have claimed it.

Did you ask live support if you were actually eligible for this free chip?

i dont really think betphoenix is being unfair . rather you are using this ambiguity to benefit from the free chip. for the past half-year you made no attempt to make a deposit at bet phoenix but took advantage of their change in software to claim a free chip. nj has often stated that there should be no successive free chips claimed. the casino was dumb not to set something to disallow the free chip but it really does seem you were trying to take advantage of them and cry foul when they refused to pay. maybe nj should just pay out and learn a lesson and set some barriers to deter bonus whores.

in may 2011 you got an e-mail who says betphoenix changed to RIVAL
and new and existing users get a 50free chip (like casinoRIVA who changed to playtech)

you think okay cool lets try betphenix at the new software

youz go to the live chat and asking is the 50free availible, you got answer :yes but cashier is update you can use it in 2hours..

you claim legally and normall in every RIVAL the freechip in the cashier (no code like before) the freechip is availible

you made the playtrough and the livechat says now you cant withdraw, while using a freechip in the old rtg software on christmas 2010

I received the same email but there may be more to the story here from the OP, the "maximum of two free chips in the past" sort of stands out. They are being generous but cautious and I can't blame them. Maybe he "forgot" and used a free chip or two in the past

It seems to me that since you no longer have the ability to check your RTG history, this is a bit over the top. But then I'm used to Rivals, where if you are eligible for a promo/free chip, it's just there in your cashier for the taking - there isn't any guesswork involved. (Well, they apparently do sometimes say "Sorry, spirit of the bonus, blah blah blah" later. But in my own experience, if they feel you've hit too well with bonus money of any sort, they bonus ban you after the fact.)

So in my opinion, if the chip was there, it was there to take & play.

Quite a few people might be confused with RTG's.

Their policys have always been you cant claim 2 free chips in a row without depositing in between.

But there may be confusion considering at other casinos such as rival you can claim as many freechips in a row as you like.

This is why I was puzzled by the decision to switch to Rival, since it meant you had to kick out all your Canadian players, which is the second biggest market.

After what happened last month, the US market has come close to being closed too, and Rival are already making moves towards pulling out of the US by ordering the white label casinos to close out US accounts, and as with Canada, Rival could easily make this into a blanket directive that ALL operators have to follow.

If this happened, BP would have to survive without access to Canada or the US, and this would be the case until some kind of legalisation ocurred in the US.

The AP/UB response has even got the Costa Rican authorities activated, and this may lead to tighter rules in the future. It has shown Costa Rica just what type of companies they are allowing to operate, ones that think nothing of "skipping town" and leaving a load of obligations behind, expecting the government to clear up the mess.

If the OP had 7 free chips in a row, he broke the rule long before the change to Rival, so this had nothing to do with it.

You may want to update your T&C's as well, no mention of Canada on that page.

We are confident in our ability to continue servicing the US market.

And regarding the Costa Rican authorities, I think you have it wrong. It isn't the gov realizing what type of companies they deal with, but the companies realizing what type of Gov CR has.

To illustrate my point, here are two different responses, from two different jurisdictions that shelter gambling companies:

To be fair, BP use Rival software which is connected to Canadian interests, and given the legal issues Rival has had in the past in that country, it doesn't surprise me that they do not accept Canadian players. It isn't down to BP to make that decision (AFAIK)
