    Tropica Admin

    Hi everyone,

As per previous posts (since Friday), Tropica Management is looking at the current promotional set up.

The wagering for the 125% Match is one of the offers that has changed and you will see these changes this weekend.

Please can you private mail me if you have any questions regarding this. Please include your casino login.

    Regards,
    Tropica

Quite interesting thread. May I suggest the following:

"The purpose of free chips is for people to try the games in real mode and a challenge to win some free money against the odds"

As for the rather ridiculous promo I would consider taking it up if your comp conversion rate is increased 10-fold. Well, ridiculous requests vs ridiculous cashout limits.

I don't think it is the wagering that is in question as much as it is the amount that a player is allowed to cashout on this bonus...Just to be a little more clear here, 2X bonus cashout is the absurd and asinine part..

    Exclamation Tropica Admin

    Hi,

Tropica is a new casino. We offer free money so that you can experience our software and obviously, to have some fun.

At the end of the day, it is a business and if everyone cashed out our free money, we would be out of business.

That said, we are still learning and are happy to make changes as we go along until we find a balance that everyone can benefit from without being abused.

The 125% offer has been changed for this coming weekend and we think you will like it.

If you are interested in free cash, then why not register as affiliates and earn 35% comm on the business you bring in. Our existing affiliates are enjoying our conversion rates and are making good commission

    Thanks all,
    Tropica

Changed to allow a much larger cashout I would hope!

I'm already one of your affiliates but with offers like these and compared to the exclusives I have at my website from other competing Rivals, I don't think my savvy players will be so fast to jump on Tropica's offerings in all due respect.

I don't argue what the multiplier is on the " Welcome" free money when I have never made a deposit at that casino before. Free money is Free money and I appreciate it especially, when they have not gotten a cent from me in the first place.

It is after numerous deposits when the casino rewards players with non deposits or weekly cash-backs, I would be concerned if the multiplier was still outrageous.

As we have stated already, and how Robwin clearly pointed out, how ridiculously unfair the amount you are limited to cash-in. We would be in bad shape if we won a nice jackpot at his Casino using the promos. It's like exchanging good money for, well for nothing.

Ok I think I have complained enough about this and the Casino Rep said that this weekend he will make changes with the promos, so I will wait to see what happens.

@Tropica Casino : thanks for being here. May I suggest that you contact Bryan, the main man here, via http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/...p?do=newpm&u=1 and ask him to set you up on the I-Gaming Forum Reps list. That way the membership will be able to find you and go directly to you with Tropica issues.

There is a MORAL problem here, why would someone be an affiliate for a casino they are criticising for their poor bonus rules.

The argument is over the maximum cashout when a player DEPOSITS. With the 125% slots bonus, the PLAYER deposits $100, and gets given $125. The most they can EVER win is 2x the bonus, or $250. For SLOTS, this is terrible, as it slices off MOST of the positive variance, yet the player suffers ALL the negative variance.

FREE money, where the player does NOT deposit any of their own, is a different matter, max cashouts are fairly common, and are there because players could take advantage of the positive variance, yet suffer NONE of the negative variance simply by playing all the no deposit free chips, and NEVER making a deposit.

Once you have DEPOSITING players, max cashouts are RARE. Most RTG casinos do NOT impose a max cashout when a player DEPOSITS, whatever the bonus offered. Those that DO tend to be rogue, because they offer HUGE "too good to be true" bonuses to hook unsuspecting players, but have to use max cashout rules, and worse, to ensure they rarely have WINNING players. Virtual group tend not to pay WINNING players anyway, and offer some of the biggest headline bonuses in the industry.

Once a player has had a big win, that might have made them overall winners BUT for the max cashout limit, they will feel as though they just "got screwed", and will feel they can NEVER win at that particular casino, and if they like the software, will look for another Rival to play at.

I'll assume that this statement was meant toward me, if not, then I digress. But let me say this...It is one thing to be one of their affiliates but totally another to actively promote them. If they (Tropica) would like to be promoted actively at my website then they will surely have to get their bonus offers in tact and feasibly acceptable to my players which as of right now they are not, thus the reason I am not actively promoting them to my visitors.

Certainly not. It was directed at the REP for suggesting that if, as a PLAYER, someone was unhappy with the service, they should become an AFFILIATE, and make even MORE people unhappy. The moral issue is that you should only reccommend to others a place you believe to be offering a good standard of service. If players have a bad experience after signing up through a website, they will blame that website, as well as the casino.
Someone who is ALREADY an affiliate, has to take a DIFFERENT moral decision, such as ensuring they give correct information, so that visitors to their site can make an informed choice about playing a max withdrawal bonus, or at the many competitors who offer what is considered "industry standard" bonuses, where max cashouts ONLY apply to no-deposit offers.

Affiliates make money from players LOSING theirs, so they WILL make more money by promoting a casino where it is much harder to win because of draconian rules, than by promoting casinos where players are more likely to win. At the worst end of the spectrum, are the affiliates who promote casino groups like Virtual, because they can advertise the HUGE bonuses, yet make HUGE amounts of money because Virtual casinos do their best to avoid paying out to winning players by setting nasty traps in their rules, as well as frequent use of the "F U Clause".
