    Crazy Vegas Issue

I have a problem with Crazy Vegas casino. I signed up for their casino because of the free play offer. I qualified for the maximum bonus on their freeplay and made a deposit of $50. Instead of a $200 bonus I was credited $7.50. I talked to support on their live chat and asked where the rest of the bonus was and they replied that I was not eligible for the bonus because in August of 2007 I played at Sun Vegas Casino which is apparently the same ownership. I read their terms and it indeed does say that. I did not know Crazy Vegas and Sun Vegas were related and I barely remember even playing at Sun Vegas a year and a half ago. The live chat operator said I could email them and request the bonus be removed as I had not played any games yet. I did not want to keep this $7.50 bonus which would have forced me to play slots to ever have a hope of cashing out. I like to play video poker and the reason Crazy Vegas appealed to me in the first place was that $200 bonus which would allow me to play video poker much longer. I knew I'd probably lose my $50 and that's fine because I enjoy playing and having a starting balance of $250 would make it worth it.

I emailed them and explained why I didn't want the bonus and they wrote me back saying they could not remove it and I was forced to play and follow their bonus rules. I thought this was ludicrous as I never asked for this $7.50 bonus nor agreed to follow the rules for it. I wrote them again explaining why I wanted the $7.50 removed and they sent me the exact same response, not even acknowledging that this was a new email. I wrote again and was told again that there was no way they were removing this bonus and the only way I could cash out my $50 was to play their rules to clear the $7.50 which at the weightings they give video poker means I have no chance of not busting.

I request help from Casinomeister please. First off, I do not think they should have allowed me to play their silly freeplay to qualify for a bonus if they weren't going to award it. Second, and most importantly, I did not ask for this $7.50 bonus and I do not want it. I want my $50 back and I want this bonus removed. In my humble opinion this is a rogue action, they are basically stealing my $50 because I played at a casino I did not know they were affiliated with back in August of 2007. Please force them to remove this bonus so I can cash my money out and play somewhere that will appreciate me more.

    Thank you,

    Nancy

it's the players responsibility to make sure
they adhere to all of the terms and
    conditions of any bonuses.

next time ask support if you're eligible for it.
I don't think you'll win this one Nancy

I agree, however please realize that I was informed this bonus of $7.50 was given apparently because of the deposit method that I used. Nowhere is this stated on their site, and I obviously did not agree to it, nor have the opportunity to decline it.

Nancy, don't play any of your deposit...I think they will do the right thing in the end...at least I hope so...I just made my initial deposit at Sun Vegas, asked first to make sure I qualified, and now I have to wait 5 to 8 hours to have my bonus credited. They now have a new 15 percent loyalty bonus, for repeat deposits, that is undoubtedly what they have credited, but bonuses should not be mandatory. I'll take my chances on meeting a WR for 100 percent, but not for 15.

The reason they gave me when giving this UNCLAIMED, AUTOMATIC BONUS, is that they give a certain % bonus on ALL deposits. I never heard anything about it until they sent me an email AFTER THE FACT. It's not like this is anywhere in their T&C (that I could see). What a joke....more VPL BS...

oh yea, and they like to SNEAK it in on you, as well. Out of all of my deposits, I have NEVER seen this added to my balance, as it happens WHILE YOU'RE PLAYING.

Here's one instance (take note of the times):

Did some more digging. It seems every deposit, whichever way you do it, gets a bonus. You have to specifically opt out of this bonus, but in doing so, I think you get opt'd out of ALL bonuses.

    Dear Brian,

Thank you for the support at Vegas Partner Lounge / Crazy Vegas Casino.

The bonus credits are the Ongoing Bonus you receive for the deposits you
    make.

    We have great Ongoing Bonuses!
On each and every deposit made via UsemyBank, Money Transfer or Wire Transfer
get a 15% bonus (up to $3000) every month!
On each and every deposit made via NETeller or NETeller Instacash get a 12,5%
bonus (up to $3000) every month!
On each and every deposit made via Moneybookers, Payspark, Click2Pay,
paysafecard, Firepay or UKash get a 10% bonus (up to $2000) every month!
On each and every deposit made via Debit Card, Visa / Master Card or e-Check get a 5% bonus (up to $2000) every month!

All deposits and bonuses are subject to Terms & Conditions

    Regards,
    Hello Brian,

Thank you for contacting the Help Desk.

The $4.94 bonus is an ongoing bonus for deposits made on your Crazy Vegas
Casino Account. This bonus is automatically credited by our system and is
explained in our Terms and Conditions for promotions. In order not to receive
this bonus, which will be credited every time you make a deposit, you need to
send us an e-mail requesting the bonus to be cancelled or to add you to the No
    Bonus List.

Unfortunately, once the bonus is credited, it cannot be removed from your
    account.

Hope this meets with your understanding and approval.

First I have to say that this is getting bumped over to the Complaints section because it is a complaint and that's where complaints belong.

Second, you may find that you are no longer allowed to post to your topic once it ends up in Complaints. See here for details. The bottom line is that you need to know your way around Casinmeister a bit before you're free to post Complaints.

Third, we have a section that lists industry and casino representatives (here) and in there you'll find that VPL is the rep for Vegas Partner Lounge casinos, of which Crazy Vegas is one. PM the rep (here) and see if they can help you out. If that doesn't work out then head over to the Pitch-A-Bitch FAQ to learn about that avenue of recourse.

Yes, a few casinos do this and it is not a Rogue action. It is in the T&C's, but you must look real close for it or just deposit and the first time it is automatically added, you know they are one of the casinos that do this.

English Harbor adds bonuses automatically as does the Wizard of Gaming slots. You can opt out of the English Harbor bonuses (this opts you out of ALL bonuses) but the Wizard of Gaming is not an option.

No, it's definitely not roguish, but just because someone doesn't want the automatic bonus added to their account doesn't mean that they shouldn't be able to partake in other promotions....

I agree but the least of the two evils would be to opt out of it all and not chance having a bonus added and then have a WR placed on it.
