    casino.com hold - watch out?

    Yesterday, i deposited in casino.com £200
I was awarded a £25 bonus and was told i needed to wager 12times on various games which i did ( SLOTS ) basically.
I got up to £507. When i came to withdrawing it would only let me withdraw £507-£50 rather than £507-£25. Which was what i was expecting as it is a sticky bonus.

After very lengthy chats - i am told because my balance before depositing the £200 was not zero- it was £0.10p - an old bonus of £25 would be taken back also!!

This is appaling as far as i can see. And they are not budging.

I read something similar not so long ago.

What do the t and c's say with regards to this bonus? Most nowadays state 'your balance must be 0' or less than xxx, or no pending withdrawals etc.

It would be cruel of them to remove that £25 for the sake of 10p left in your account, especially if it was a sticky bonus, as they couldn't lose either way, but if it's in the terms, there's probably not much you can do as you agreed to the conditions when you took the bonus.

I couldn't find anything in terms about it wiping to zero. But i just think players ought to be warned about this because most bonuses expire when it gets to <£1.

Its harsh and also inflexible- many casinos would let it go and see that its a bit of a nonsense but if they insist of sticking to their guns about this they will lose good customers.

    But maybe they don't care.

In that case, I would contact them again, and remind the operator of their terms and conditions.

    '12.1

Unless specifically stated otherwise no two promotions can be used in combination and promotions only apply to deposits and wagers on the CASINO.COM download software. .'

They've contradicted their own terms, and it's the casinos fault, not yours, if they credited a bonus that you shouldn't have got as their was still money left over in your account prior to you being awarded this bonus.

It also states in the t and c's (as all casinos do) that real money is used before bonus money - in terms of wagering - so it's quite possible that 10p is bonus money, hence the above.

But all of this for 10p? That's just a little bit petty.

I have also realised that neteller doesn't allow you to withdraw pennies ( here anyway) so there was always the possibility of leaving 10p in there!

If i get my account that low i pick a game and play it off before next deposit.
Last week i had 10 cents left at a mg casino and this was from 50% match after you deposited so i wanted to clear it off. Well turned out well for me
i hit free spins on isis game went to make a coffee and not sure how i did it but paid me 97.50 so i didnt have to make a deposit. Always clear it out then there is no carry over for a bonus.

^ yeah - good point ( but you must have been gutted when you got $97 from a 10cent spin - presumably you normally play 10 or 20times that bet size?)

Anyway, is there a casino.com rep here? Would like to know what they think?

I had the same problem with a couple of Playtech casinos (e.g. Carnival and Vegas Red), but chatting with support always helped (got back the money).

Yes I had thought of that also if i had of played my normal amount for that slot what it would of paid. But i always look at it this way the higher the bet at least for me the less bonus rounds free spins and large hits i seem to land.
So i might not of gotten that at all if i had of been playing dollar a spin.
