The Worst Excuse to remove Bonus?

    I got a whopper today.

I played BJ too fast so i must be a bot! Yes bots wager $290k within 24 hours and 600k in the last week.

I wont release full details yet because im still awaiting answers but thought we could have some fun while we wait

    This is too funny.

When I play BJ, I set the software on the highest speed and play as fast as I can. I'll have to watch out now.

    What site?

If it's anywhere reputable, I'd definitely suggest PABing.

At the very least you could get camtasia, and record yourself playing the hands to prove you are certainly capable of playing that fast.

If I've got this right that sounds like a resolution, yes? I'll mark it thus.

Let me know if I'm off the mark on this.

You get a free Blackjack bot with every Microgaming casino

The outcome is no different than if you followed basic strategy yourself from a card, although a bot will lose your money even faster.

The only time a bot can give you an advantage is if the play is done with a bonus on the account, and the WR is set such that perfect play offers a positive advantage to the player. This happens where the amount likely to be lost in meeting the WR is less than the amount of bonus that would become cashable. Bonus whoring websites will refer to this kind of bonus as being "+EV", and will sometimes offer a notional value for the mean profit that would be made by an infinite number of attempts at taking the bonus (each individual player is only allowed ONE attempt).

Casinos that don't include a free house bot with their software will often be more generous with their bonuses, assuming that players will have to play manually with a strategy card, and will thus make mistakes and get either tired or impatient. A bot is more dangerous as it can complete the WR perfectly, however many hands are needed.

Some time ago, there was a bot for casino-on-net freely available, that was used to play Blackjack. It may well still be around, but it shows that someone with the right skills could code a bot for a download casino, and it may be possible to code one for a web based casino too.

Because the casino-on-net bot did indeed exist, casinos know this risk is real, and some casinos have chosen to go with the flow, and provide a bot with the client (Microgaming), while others have chosen to keep an eye on players, and have a term to cover their asses if they are taken to the cleaners by a bot.

Poker is where you will find more sophisticated bots, simply because there is far more money to be made with a good poker bot than a good casino bot. A casino bot will only make money if casinos are prepared to offer bonuses, where a good poker bot can make money from simply playing live tables against humans.
Poker bots can come unstuck if they are used against top class poker players, as once they work out they are playing against a (lone) bot, they will take it to the cleaners in no time Collusion is worse than lone bots, as these not only play perfectly, but they cheat by sharing information that is not supposed to be shared between what are supposed to be opponents.

Casinomeister himself has a Casino Warning bot called Vortran, but I don't believe Vortran has opened any casino accounts himself, as he could find his winnings and bonus voided

I have seen the picture of Vortran, and I don't think he would present too much of a risk to poker players, even fish
