Maxima casino takes away 1000 EUR winnings
I have a huge problem with Maxima Casino - they want to take my EUR 1000 winnings away, because as it turned out I submitted a withdrawal request when I was EUR 100 short of the wagering requirement ("only" wagered 14 300 when I had to wager 14 400).
They state "If you withdraw before having met the minimum wagering requirements, your bonus and winnings might be void". But they haven't processed my withdrawal, so I haven't in fact withdrawn + you have 4 days to stop the withdrawal anyways from within the cashier. But they confiscated everything but my deposit after 2 days. ![]() Also, there was no warning whatsoever in the cashier when I tried to withdraw that I haven't met the requirements. I guess it would be quite easy to compute, and most casinos have this feature I'd think. I requested they redeposit my winnings (minus the bonus which can't be cashed out anyways) so I can complete the wagering requirement. This is really unfair, because with 100 EUR left to wager the worst outcome is I lose 100 but not 1000! They are not responsive - it took about 8 days to get an answer, which is "we're sorry these are the terms" I also sent an email to the manager but he didn't repsond. They have no rep on this board. They are based in Curacao. What's my best course of action? |

Isn´t Maxima Playtech? You can keep track of your wagering by checking your comp points balance.

Thanks vinyl for your response. When you are affected yourself, sometimes you're biased but a supportive post from such a reputable poster as you just confirmed my complaint is valid and I'll chase this further.
I'll invite the casino to have their say, I hope I'll not need to "pitch a bitch". And to answer your question, I didn't do anything funky. They have a long list of not allowed games*, and I have not wagered a cent on any of them! You can have a look at them here: http://www.maximacasino.com/promohtml/matchbonus.htm Last edited by ether; 30th July 2007 at 09:49 PM. Reason: Added a few things |

I don't think you have many options to be honest.
You didnt abide by the T&Cs (even though it was an honest mistake), so they are within their right to confiscate your winnings. I guess at least it means you will learn always to check what you have wagered before withdrawing. Sorry man. |

You're not right Rob, because there are 4 days after a withdrawal request was submitted to reverse it and I wasn't given this option.
They say "If you withdraw..." ... I have received from the so far: 0 euros and 0 eurocents so when did the withdrawal happen? |

When you put in amount and press the accept button=an withdrawal
Not that hard to understand ???!!! |

I agree. According to the terms Maxima has the right, although it is not a decent policy, to confiscate the winnings...

Contrast this with the accredited FastWin casino. I withdrew after a lot of wagering, but they E-mailed me to tell me that I had to wager some more, and that the withdrawal had been returned to my account. This was BEFORE the reversal period was even over. It turned out they had made a draconian update to the T & C for British players only, and that I had wagered enough for previous months, but the WR had been doubled. It didn't enter their minds to use this as a vehicle to claw back some of the money I won over a couple of lucky months earlier in the year. Also, they don't spam for players, unlike Maxima. For any casino, the more they spam me, the less likely I am to play there, especially where the spam looks like they hired a class of pre-school kids to put it together. As for me being biased! Never (If I am, it is more likely towards players than casinos).
