In this case a "random" jackpot refers to a jackpot that is just radomly given to a player playing the slot, not because of a specific bet or line hit. Where as a progressive jackpot you need to hit a specific sequence to trigger it.

i used to play alot at grand aces. i once got an email saying i had reached vip status and the max cashouts no longer applied. i never had a chance to cashout enough so i dont know if it would have held true.
