When can i remove thanks?

I clicked on the thanks tab on a post. Not because the post was good,( I didnt actually agree to the points made in the post) but just out of curiosity. Reason for my curiosity is attached

I tried to remove my thanks but i was not permitted to do so? Strange I think.

Normally you should be able to remove Thanks at any time (pretty sure of that).

That 4 billion thing is a bug in the system that pops up here and there occasionally, and I expect it's interfering with your remove Thanks here too.

For now I suggest you shrug it off ... and look forward to the bug fix like the rest of us.
