I think that in terms of the physical effects, gambling does not conjure actual illness in the way in which alcohol and smoking does, however the ramifications of gambling can lead to displays of illness such as those Kyle experienced.
Overall, it probably can cause you actual harm. Probably less due to just gambling alone, but more the repercussions losing can have, especially if you are 'naive' enough to not witness these until some point later.
Gambling is a cruel thing. It can quite easily lead to drink and other measures (through depression) but it should be noted that this is for a select few.
But fundamentally here, I don't think any of us are in a position to dictate to Kyle how he should handle this. We can give advise but we should understand that we are not all generic. As a result, we deal with things differently. Some smokers will give up instantly and refuse to have 'just the one' no matter how hard the cravings may become: others will make it a gradual process over time.
Provided Kyle reaches the end goal he so desires, what does it matter how he goes about things?

I think once you took your problem public by typing about it on an open forum, it was an open discussion. You, yourself, have become rude a few posts back.
I think what is happening now is that you realize you jumped the gun in starting this thread in the first place and now you want it to die in the background.
Nothing against Enzo or any other casino rep regarding a situation like this, but the last thing they want to do is stand up for a person with a gambling problem and I won't go into a long debate about that.
How I see it is this....you got violently ill because you spent money you couldn't afford, and in a moment of utter panic you were going to quit gambling according to your plan. After having some time to settle down, you realize you might have jumped the gun abit. And remember, this is JUST HOW I PERCEIVE IT! I've seen it happen time and again. When you have a gambling problem you need to quit spot on altogether. I can promise you there will come a day that you will be back at it full force if you continue to think you can play free tournaments(for money) and hit a land casino every now and then. Its called temptation and all too often, temptation leads to evils one tries to avoid.
I do hope for your sake that you do kick it square in the butt...otherwise, it will be rock bottom before you fully realize that you're getting violently ill was a major wake up call.![]()

CK the question I will pose to you is, will you quit gambling or will you just take a break? See what I gather from your post is that you lost substantial amount of money that it made you sick. Then you play again offline/online which means your not going to quit gambling.
So what are you going to do?
Give a fool his space....don't want to get caught up in their drama

Repeat question to CasinoKidd!!!!!!!!!! Shoot the darn horse please, dont keep it lingering and suffering as its painful for all and pretty much all has been said and done to help it, put it to rest, your the owner(original poster) and the only one that can ask to have it done. This thread has served a good purpose and now can just go away and no more hard feelings stirred between members imo............laurie
