With Tech Support like this ... Who needs it? (Titan Poker)
OMG, I really wish I knew what the requirements to be tech support for Titan Poker is. Here is a blow by blow account of the Email Support I have recieved from them in attempting to set up an account. (BTW, the only reason I have kept this up is because of morbid curiousity)
To: support@titanpoker.com Date: Oct 8, 2006 9:37 AM Subject: Problems creating an account I am currently stationed in South Korea (I am an US Soldier) and i was trying to sign for an account on Titan Poker. Unfortunately (due to some local scandals) the casinotropez.com site (where the sign-ups are re-directed) is blocked as an illegal gambling site. I am still able to execute the titan poker client and see the table summaries. So I know I can still play. Is there anyway I can get an account by any other means? If I get an account from any other means, how would I be able to deposit money in to my account? (I should have been clearer here, and asked if it will effect money deposits or not) Thanks Stephen Schroeder |

HUH?? This response is so far of the mark, I almost suspect that they have a computer program with some bad A.I. answering initial Emails

The Included attachements: Screen shots showing that I am unable to sign-up, and the beak down to where it shows the website is blocked by the Korean government. Did they even bother to look at my attachments? Obviously No. Now I am convinced there is only computers answering their Emails.

Maybe I can make this a little bit clearer .....

When I use the SetupPoker.exe to install Titan Poker, I am able to connect to your server. Everything is good right there ... When I click on "setup an account" the program redirects to CasinoTropez.com, where the sign up application is hosted. Due to some scandels that have been occurring lately in South Korea the Korean Government has blocked CasinoTropez.com. (I know you have no restrictions on who logs in), hence i can not sign up for an account directly through your software. I have included screenshots in my previous Email showing this. I am on a United States Military Post, making where I am residing a US territory, hence I am not subject to the Korean Laws; unfortunately they supply the Internet services to me, so I am still subject to this blockage. I have been asking if there is another way to set up an account? Maybe ask me the questions here, and I will then give you the answers? Stephen Schroeder |

We just figured that it might be being blocked, but lets try this gibberish techniques listed below: It could also be that you have not yet updated the Internet Explorer 6 version. We also saw that you have a Spybot S&D installed to your computer, we suggest you to disable this application. The best solution is to uninstall Spybot and try if you can enter to the cashier, if this solution works, you should reinstall Spybot and check if the Titan Poker site is not in Spybot blacklist.
