I am having the jerky games problem with Villento also. Has been doing it for some time. Thought it was just my dialup connection but have changed to DSL and it still happens. Sometimes the win money is not added to my balance until after the next spin which is way strange.

Yesterday I had a strange thing happen but couldn't catch it to get a screen shot. I got the free spins on the "Beer" game. I was doing something else at the time so I was just glancing at the screen but I was counting up the money and I thought "I will have over $50 when this is over". Next time I looked at the screen there was an error message that connection to the server had been lost and I only had $46 balance.

I really don't think that they added the win to my balance but have no way of proving it so I just let it go. After that I watched more carefully.

I find their software extremely poor. Ive noticed they leave things when I try to uninstall. Im currently pissed off because I have a major bug on my PC. Im not blaming microgaming for that but I have been getting rid of some of their stuff that should have been long gone.

Im sure they could improve immensly, but for now, a major

Ive started back working on my Horse Poker site. For those who dont know, H.O.R.S.E is a game combining 5 different poker disciplines. Holdem, Omaha hi/lo, Razz, Stud & Eights or better (stud hi/lo)

HORSE poker players have to be pretty rounded. Take the quick Poker Test and check your standings.

Iam playing at Villento but I prefer the Flash version. You dont get any problems.Concerning your problem of error screen, I think they can send you a copy of your history game,The casino can check it spin by spin. If there were an error, then they must correct it.

The only error I get is my balance always seem to wind up at zero, lol

I was wondering who dug up this oldie, and discovered it's the same person who exhumed it in March!

Some long gone names on page 1, most notably Caruso!

Anyway, the only problem I have with MG now is the ludicrous time it takes to start up a casino (anything from 2 to 5 minutes ), and once running the crazy time it takes to 'load' a slot (1-2 minutes ).

What I can't understand is if you have the game already downloaded on your PC, why the hell does it take so long to start up??? Other softwares are way quicker.

Anyone else have these problems, or is it just me?

I have seen the same. Oddly enough, the time to start up seems to vary, even with the same casino at different times.
The newer slots in particular take longer to load than some of the older ones.

Don't forget, these casinos must be approaching 2 Gig by now, even though most of this bulk (thankfully!) is now in a shared common folder.

I am sure this thread will keep coming up again, since MG continue to leave old errors live in the software.

To be honest I can't stand the downloadable casino.

I prefer to play in the flash versions, as is less hassle. You get less games, but it is so much simpler to use and less buggy and I also seem to have less losing sessions in them. (Maybe cause I'm less stressed out using flash.)

The downloadable casino take ages to load the games, sometimes it gets stuck loading them and I have to press cancel and load the game again. The software often crashes, and the beginning intro movie when you load it up does my head in. Also I too have noticed if it crashes during a crucial moment in a game, my balance doesn't appear to reflect the win, which sucks.

I once paid $2 to enter a tournament and couldn't get into the darn thing, because it took too long to load up, by the time it did load up, the tournament was over... and I couldn't get my money back.

The other problem I have is it never seems to uninstall properly and I have to manually delete files myself. The shortcut is still on my desktop after the software is uninstalled, even after rebooting PC, and I have to delete the shortcut myself, which seems a bit sloppy to me. The whole thing seems as if they rushed to get it out without giving it a thorough test drive and never bothered to fix the bugs.

No I don't like the microgaming downloadable casino. But I do really like the flash casino, the flash casino is I think excellent(-:

It could be my PC, but I don't get these issues with the playtech software, or the RTG software.

Of all the downloadable casinos I prefer playtech, is very smooth, loads the games quick, and is much more user friendly and easier to navigate. Also with playtech I've noticed, if anything happens like you lose connection in the middle of a game and then load the software back up, it takes you straight back to the game exactly where you left off.

However I don't like very many playtech sites

The people who manage microgaming sites tend to be more trustworthy, reliable and quicker at processing withdrawals.

Don't forget this thread was from 2005, when MG were in one hell of a mess.

They are much improved lately, with many of the bugs being minor, even if annoying. Some minor bugs have been left behind, such as the problems with Thunderstruck.

The most annoying current bug is with their slot tournaments, and if you leave these alone the MG casinos are generally fine, other than problems getting connected, and getting booted out (happened 3 times yesterday to me - the notorious "casino error 2").

There is now a new bug, but only on the "Fruit Machines". This is "casino error 6", and happens when you can load all the other games, but cannot connect to the Fruit Machines. I am 100% convinced now that these "fruit machines" are on a different server, as this problem mimics the one with the tournaments, where you can log on to the casino, play the games, but find tournaments unavailable.

Playtech always froze at random on the old PC, but has been fine on my new one.

i dont understand why MG has to install the whole casino why couldnt it be like RTG or PLAYTECH where only the games you want to play are installed
