    Cherry Casino

Has anyone here been able to sucessfully make a deposit at Cherry Casino? If so would you tell me how?

I have tried all three methods (direct, Neteller, Prepaid ATM) using three different valid credit cards and not been able to do it. I have contacted their customer support and they say the problem is with the card issuers. I have had no problem using these cards with other vendors.

I had a similar problem with Intercasino (I don't care for their software) a while ago and eventually I was able to send them a certified check. How do they stay in business if you can't make a deposit?

    Any advice is appreciated.

Were these visa cards by chance? Visa just recently stopped all online gaming transactions.

I am a little confused; as neteller is independant of credit cards. Try using their instacash option.

It could be a problem with the security level on your computer. I'm not familiar with mac( which I assume you're a user of, based on your handle) at all, but on PC you can open Internet Option from control panel, go to Privacy, lower the bar all the way down to accept all cookies. Also click on Security tab, select Custom Level push button for ActiveX settings and reset it to medium-low level. Hope you can find something simular on your mac.

    Exclamation

Just noticed you had a similar problem with intercasino:

I assume that you're getting the declined messages, and that would have nothing to do with your security settings if it's getting that far.

If this is the case, I would strongly reconsider giving neteller your checking information. I have seen no posts (anywhere online) as to anyone's checking account(s) being compromised by using them. They are very secure & safe. (I have used them quite a bit for the past couple years and have had no problems.)

The only thing I would *not* suggest is if you do use neteller, if you need any account information, to call them instead of asking for it via email. Sure their website will be secured, but email is not.

My friend had the same problem. Her bank would not allow her to fund Neteller via her credit card. It seems that they, along with prepaid ATM, are flagged for providing gaming funds, and are apparently 'blacklisted' for any sort of transactions.

Thanks to all those who responded. It appears that bank transfer is the only viable option.

According to what I've been reading, most U.S. credit card issuers won't accept online gaming sites as vendors as a result of pending legal issues.

You are correct. Visa has led the way with banning all gaming transactions & Mastercard leaves it up to the bank in question on whether to allow them or not. I'd look for them to follow suit behind Visa in the near future. (Don't quote me on that, but it sure looks that way lol)

Question though, can you still get a cash advance via CC at a B&M casino these days, or are they just doing this against online gaming?
