This has been an issue for a long time now. FL is notorious for not removing people from their mailing/calling lists after the player requests this.
FL VP, why dont you have a box to check when signing up at your casino as to whether or not a player wishes to get your non-stop spam and phone calls. This would rectify the issue of continually harrassing players who dont wish to be harrassed by your telemarketers. Cheers |

This has been a repeated complaint in the past, and I am amazed that FL don't seem to realise how badly they are shooting themselves in the foot with this nonsense.

There are PLENTY of people who (myself included) do not want an online casino calling them at home or work. The agravation I would suffer from my better half would be hell...A few weeks ago I got a call from fortune lounge at work, I thought it was a cold call and I informed the gentleman that call made at my place of business were unwelcome. The conversation was polite on both ends, and I harbor no ill will towards telemarketers, they are trying to earn a living too. I requested I be placed on a do not call list. However if the calls are placed outside the U.S. I don't know if that is enforceable...
Bad call on fortunelounge's part...you are going to lose more then you will gain by doing this to players!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would think by now Fortune Lounge would have replied to this and would make every effort to make sure this does not happen again. But it's clear they do not care!!

Yep, I think the FL group need to rethink this marketing plan. It's just not worth in the long run. To many chances of alienating players.

Gee clj7221...give me a break. Your post was at 7:47 pm last night (our time). I work from 08:00 to 19:00 and I do not sit and watch forums all the time.
Now on to the issue. Outbound calls to players is a very sensitive issue and we are currently re-evaluating the process and the strategy. It is true that we had some problems with removing players from contact lists in the past but most of those have been resolved. Unfortunately issues around the call lists have not been resolved yet but we should have it sorted out in the very near future. I have absolute empathy with the situation as I do not like to receive telemarketing calls either. Outbound calls are made in instances where we have sent promotions to players who need to opt in, player specific promotions, confirmation of cash-ins, purchasing assistance, etc. In most cases players do not mind receiving calls from us as they have benefitted from the call. We need to get it right and ensure that players who do not wish to be called do not receive any calls and this will be a priority. VP Operations Fortune Lounge

If people are sent promotions they need to opt in for can't you just leave them to decide and opt-in if they want to?
I hadn't played at any Fortune Lounge casino for a long time but decided to have a go with three welcome back bonuses I was offered. Opted in and did everything required & still haven't had the bonuses credited two days later despite the offers saying 12 hours. They did however give me a $2 neteller bonus which I had to ask them to reverse as I didn't want to have to wager an extra 220 just for $2! (nice trap, though) Tried livechat but no-one responds (does it actually work at all?). Phoned up one casino and the person I talked to had to write out an e-mail to accounts while we talked but couldn't say when I'd get a response - surely the customer service people should also be able to credit bonuses instantly as seems to happen at most casinos? All in all it doesn't really encourage you to deposit any money there! |
