Hi

I love my online casinos but recently i've been using mobile casinos on my commute each day. i've been looking for opinions online, found a few sites liek [my own site!] who have reviews but wouldnt mind getting the opinions of players on here?

I'm currently using spinpalace but looking at other alternatives as i like ot have a selection.

Thanks

That's some pretty obvious self promotion dude. Have reported the post. You should contribute a bit more and read what others have got to say and maybe you would have more useful content for you site.

Sorry for not getting it, but what is he selfpromoting?
That he likes Spinpalace but looking for other places...what?

I don't play mobile casinos, but I do play Bet365 and I know they offer a mobile app. Playtech offers some excellent games, and I've been very happy with my service from Bet365. They may be worth checking out for yourself.

I think your mobile gaming experience might depend a lot on your mobile device.

I have a netbook I take on the road with me, so I can play regular flash or download away from home.

Okey, now I saw what kind of place that was. You might be right Conker, but I suppose only time will tell, and if he stays on like a normal member:rolleyes:

never to mention that site ever again:p

Good spot Conker

Digging a bit deeper this is the same person as user "azburi85" who also happens to list that website in his/her profile

Interesting question though so gonna let the thread run. I played mobile casino a bit using the Spin3 software (Laddies) and also some poker at some outfit called "Aces" or something. This was 2/3 years ago admittedly but found it a little frustrating and frankly, boring. The slots are small, the phone kept getting disconnected in tunnels (i was on a train!) and I was never far away from my home PC or laptop anyway, so preferred to wait.

I was also conscious of the fact that I was playing slots on a train and a) might have looked a bit sad and b) a bit of an addict to other people LOL!

iPads and tablets are a game-changer I suspect but essentially that's a PC so in most cases you can just play the normal Flash version of a casino (on android anyway) in your browser right? The "mobile" games I assume are for phones which IMO aren't a good platform for slots and stuff.

I think mobile sports betting is a great idea, but mobile casino games? Unconvinced.

Have you seen those UK TV ads for Lady Luck's casino - pretty cringe-worthy IMHO...

Here it is!

PS: No I'm not a shill for this place - I don't even promote them! :p

Net Ent's mobile casino is really nice. Unfortunately they only have 3 games on it at release, Gonzo's Quest, Jackhammer and Blackjack so it's limited to say the least.
I think only CasinoEuro have it so far.

But would you actually play it? I think for casino games you need a bit of time: it's not like sportsbetting where you are in and out and sometimes on a deadline. You need to actually have an amount of time to make it worth logging in, loading the game, depositing if you haven't already and playing. If I have that much time, I normally have my laptop with me anyway.

But everyone I talk to on the business side of the industry tells me mobile is growing and it's the next big thing. Have been for about 3 or 4 years now and I do think that mobile - as in people on the move - plays a part, I'm just not convinced people have a need for mobile apps or will play blackjack/slots/roulette on small-screen devices (phones) enough to call it significant.

iPad users need something because of the Flash handicap I suppose but Android tablet users can just fire up a browser and use the normal Instant Play casino.

I'd love to hear from people who play/have played casino games on their phone and what they think.

I'm like you Simmo. I like to have the time to gamble. For me is recreation where I want to sit down with a cuppa tea or a glass of wine and enjoy the experience. I figure the only time I would be tempted to play on my mobile is if I was stuck in an airport for ages or something like that (lol). So far never tried it.

I would agree about needing time to gamble, but there is also the boredom element. If you have to commute everyday or worse have to take your girlfriend shopping on the weekend then you can be left for long periods with nothing to do. The obvious thing to do is pull out your phone and surf web, look on facebook, check email. When that is done you probably fancy playing some games, maybe even a gamble. I see people everyday playing all sorts on games on the train, they couldn't give a sh*t if someone thinks they are a bit sad or a loser, because no one knows if they are playing for money or not. My guess is that people are playing for short periods of like 10-15 minutes at a time.

I do agree disconnections can get annoying and do put me off.

Yes, Net Entertainment`s mobile casino looks nice (NetEnt Touch). I expected that more casinos would have it live by now, so maybe NetEnt is running a bit late.

Mobile gaming has great potential and it is a "must" for all large suppliers. Although I must say that I personally do not find it very appealing yet.

Some information from H2 Gambling Capital regarding mobile gaming:

The world is changing, no longer is PC/Laptop at the leading edge of interactive technology, the world has moved from what was know as the Google generation to what H2 are coining the “interactive mobile generation”. In a world that is rapidly changing H2 Mobile looks to steer operators, suppliers, analysts and investors towards understanding the opportunity and significance that mobile gambling presets

Traditionally betting has made up the majority of the mobile gambling market at 76.74% of global GGY, this has largely been driven by the Japanese Racing Association (JRA) which is by far the largest mobile betting operator in the world. However, over the next five years product market share is going to shift towards gaming and lotteries as technology develops to allow players an experience rivaling that of traditional interactive devices such as PC and Laptops.

Betting currently accounts for 76.74% of the global mobile gambling market with gaming accounting for just under 16.5% and lottery 6.78%. This is forecast to change to 50.48%, 39.82% and 9.7% respectively over the next 5 years.

Now is the time for mobile gambling - as with regulating markets the race is on to be the top contender. History has shown that the first movers making the most informed decisions ultimately gain the strongest foothold and the highest revenues.

Oh...and let me just add a Gonzos Quest Touch™ gameplay video from Net Entertainment:)

Have you or anyone downloaded/played the Blackjack game yet on this platform, and if so, do you know what the minimum stake is? And is it possible to transfer funds back and forth from the casinoeuro online casino account to the mobile app.

I hate to play at mobile and never will.

Such a stupid thing, according to me.

Better a book.

Some of you are going to be shocked at this but.....

I haven't got a mobile phonelol, I have 3, problem is my partner's phone broke so he asked to have mine (being so soft hearted I said yes) my old mobile broke and my older one I gave away:lolup:

Have yet to get round to buying a new one, though on my mobile that I gave to my partner I downloaded some demo slots to play, I must say I thoroughly enjoyed playing on my mobile at the time, (though I never did get round to depositing to play:rolleyes:).

But would you actually play it?
Yes, I have.
I would play it regularly if they had Frankenstein or Alien Robots on it.
On the train, on the tube, in bed, waiting for friends in the pub... definitely.
It's not quite the "big thing" people have been expecting and over-hyping but yeah it's going to get some of my cash when there's more content.
