Impossible to answer without defining what winning is. In general 5 reel slots have more lines so the chance of hitting any kind of win will be a lot higher while 3 reel slots will have bigger wins when you do hit.

Well, if it`s any consolation the only true jackpot i`ve ever won playing slots was curtsy of a 3 reel slot......

What zap said; Winning what exactly?
Sorry, but it's a pretty meaningless poll without a full definition of what you call a "win"

And Seventh777's shot is of an AWP, not a slot - so not relevant here.
    Great win though! :

Thanks. Your feedback has been very helpful, perhaps I should segregate the poll into issues, 1) where are you likely to win more often, 3 reel or 5 reel? 2) Where are you more likely to win larger pay outs, 3 reel or 5 reel?

I understand that 5 reel slots can have more paylines and therefore you have more chance of winning, but as 3 line slots have less reels does that counter act the fact that it has less paylines, so your chances are increased as there are less symbols in total. Sorry my head is spinning!

Tbh, I personally don`t think there is any difference, when the RNG God`s shine your way, you`re gonna win no matter what you play, hell I once ploughed through a £2187.50p w/r and withdrew £2000 from a £87.50p starter balance playing entirely TSII, like I said, when it`s your day, any game will shine through, although VWM (Ted) will put forward a very good hypothesis on how to punch out a decent win on an AWP .

HA! I like it, man! I've always been an athiest all my life but those pesky RNG God's have converted me. I now worship at the altar of the slot. Although any tips on how to become a better disciple would be most appreciated!

Why do you call VWM Ted?
(I know that's not his real name!)

Sorry if you think I was pedantic, but in my very humble opinion, an AWP is not a slot as we know it, Jim.

Hey it`s cool. Explanation as to why I call VWM Ted, as we all know he is very on the ball regarding legal stuff and thus he has been tagged as VWM QC, now, being our resident lawyer as such I have likened him to the only other resident lawyer that springs to mind - Ted from Scrubs lol.

Hope that clears things up .

    P.S.

I`m sure his real name is an anagram of zombie food .
