Non-Withdrawable Bonus

I was playing at Betfred and decided to take the 100% monthly bonus. My first few spins I won,always happens when I take a bonus,but anyway I wagered out the bonus terms 20x(deposit+bonus) after several hours.

But when I went to withdraw I found the bonus amount was non-withdrawable.Luckily it was only a smaller deposit I made but if it was £100 or so I wouldnt have been happy.Dont get me wrong, Betfred is one of the best Playtech casinos to play.

Ok its my fault I should have read the terms but I thought like most casinos the playthrough made the bonus withdrawable,I get that free chips are non withdrawable and some RTG bonuses are the same but I wasnt expecting this at a Playtech.

Is there any other Playtech casinos that have this rule,or do they all?

Of all the Playtechs I list on my site, these have Phantom (non-withdrawable) bonuses:
William Hills Group casinos, Genting, Bet Fred & Omni.
All the others have fully cashable bonuses.

Personally I think Phantom bonuses suck - unless they are high % and very low WR.

I believe they call this type of bonus 'Sticky' in some casinos. In that it 'sticks' with the Casino.

Its been explained to me like a funky loan plan. You don't owe anything if you bust (The money stays with the casino ). But should you become Withdrawable- then you have to pay back the original amount of the bonus (Or loan.)

It is pretty lame, though. To want to cash out a small money amount on a small deposit, only to find out like 50$ or more is heading back to the casino....

...And then it brings you under the withdrawal limit.

Excellent! I never really got that term 'sticky' . I always thought it meant, that the bonus sticks there until you get through wagering requirements then unsticks when you crack it You can tell I've never managed to crack a bonus

I recall playing at a Grand Virtual casino years ago with a sticky bonus. Met wrs and withdrew what I could. Then I awent back and played the 'sticky bonus' while the w/d was still pending. I played table games in small increments and used the martingale system. Once I won a bit I would add this to my w/d and went back until I finally busted. Well, at least I won a bit more without risking my original cashout.
