    Net Entertainment Slot RTP List

I've been trying out various casinos and am generally disappointed by the lack of transparency. There was a recent thread about the RTP of Net Entertainment and how its RTP's aren't any better than Microgaming. Slots are hard to figure since they can be so volatile, and adding to the confusion, I found two quotes from their website that are actually contradictory.

“By offering players pay-out in the region of 95-97 percent the player lifetime is prolonged “

    and

“Net Entertainment therefore typically has pay-out in the range 95-98%”

Which is it? 97 or 98? One percentage point is a pretty big deal.

Regardless, neither of these sentences means anything. They both use “dodge” words to reduce the definiteness of the statements. But unlike every other casino that I've found, Net Entertainment is the only company that lists the RTP for every individual slot. They are in the help files for each game. I think that they deserve serious kudos for doing that.

Does anyone else know of any other casino that lists the RTP for individual games? Because if not, that makes Net Ent even better.

I made a list of each game. Their words might be meaningless, but when they give us the hard numbers it doesn't matter. That indicates a real desire to be open and immediately sends them to the top of my casino choice list. I also love their "decades" slots. The Groovy 60's, the Funky 70's, and the SUPER 80's. What's next? The Not That Long Ago 90's?

    Best: Mega Joker- 99.0%
    Worst: Relic Raiders- 90.0%
    Mean: 96.04%
    Median: 96.4%
    Mode: 96.5%, 96.6%, 96.8%

Quite a few slots are in the 93% area, a small number are around 98%, and the vast majority are around 96.5%. The absolute worst was a mini game at 87.5%.

I don't know if the jackpot payouts are included in the numbers, but I assume they are.

I hope that this list is useful.

There are other casinos/providers who list this info. I think paddy power shows it for all their slots and a lot of IGT casinos (although they are generally pretty low so they should perhaps think twice). It's great that Net Ent do this - they even updated them recently based on empirical data - some went up some went down.
I think it should be mandatory - no loss to anyone, especially when you think that most people would be very surprised about high how the % return rates are.

    IGT (WagerWorks) and Rival do.

I don't really know how we should take that. I thought that slots worked on a fixed RTP that was unaffected by empirical data. It's based on the number of reels, stops, and lines. Regardless, it's good that they are listing their RTP's.

I checked out IGT. I'm happy to see someone else publishing their data. I'm making a list of their RTP's. And Rival is on Casinomeister's naughty list, but not that rogue list. I'm assuming that means that we should avoid them.

    More Data

I did further analysis of the results and compared them to the words that they used.

    98.0 and greater = 3 = 4.8% (98.0, 98.8, 99.0)
    97.0 - 97.9 = 6 = 9.7%
    96.0 - 96.9 = 34 = 54.8%
    95.0 - 95.9 = 11 = 17.7%
    94.9 and less = 8 = 12.9%

Values that would Round to 93 or less:
    - 93.1
    - 93.5
    - 90
    - 93
    - 93.2
    - 93

Values that would Round to 98 or greater:
    - 98
    - 97.6
    - 97.9
    - 98.8
    - 97.8
    - 99

I think their use of the word 'typically' should apply to the range of 93-98%. If they wanted to lop off the highs and lows and go with the bulk of their games then they should go with 94-97. To be fair to them, their newer games all seem to be around 96.5%, but Relic Raiders is their worst and it isn't very old.
