Which has a better chance to cashout? Taking Bonuses or Without Bonuses? (RTG / MG)

Hi guys, when I joined the RTG slots, my big win of more than $10K comes when i was depositing WITH bonuses.
Even when I play MG slots, with bonuses, I played Immortal Romance, I won.

Recently, I tried to play without bonuses in MG or RTG, deposit of $100. I don't win anything, very very bad. End up zero bankroll.

Does taking bonuses increases the RTP ? Any advice guys?

IMO, the only thing a bonus provides is longer play time. You're bound to a WR and most times a max cashout. Most of the members who play bonuses are disciplined on how to go about working through the playthrough and making the most to get to their desired cashout amount, and above all else HITTING THE CASHOUT BUTTON when they reach their goal.

But don't take my word for it, since I quit gaming online over a year ago. I'm sure more proficient and more "bonus" user experienced members can/will give you better advice than I can

    Well said ksech.

I do play with bonuses when offered. When I do, I have a personal strategy.

e.g- Deposit $100 with 100% match bonus giving me $200 to initiate play. I play in $10 increments at $2 a spin. If I get lucky and get over my $200 balance at any point, I increase the spins to $5 or $6.25, depending on the game at $25 increments, until my balance goes back to the original $200 or I get lucky and continue to play until I reach the play-through requirement.

If I am fortunate enough to win, I am disciplined and will definitely cash out!

Unless you're playing some "well dodgy" software, it does not effect RTP at all.

Depending on the type of bonus (WR and cashable or not), they CAN mathematically increase your chances of overall profits.
Generally I would say MG casinos offer much more generous bonuses than RTG.

I don't know if I'm the exception to the norm, but I honestly never even think about wagering requirements or cashout limits or blah blah blah. It never enters my head. Regardless of if I'm playing with a bonus or otherwise, I just play until I get bored and cashout or when my balance reaches zero. Or sometimes with a big win cashout some and carry on with what is left. Or on the odd occasion just leave the money there and come back another day. I don't ever think "Oh, I've got to play x slot x number of times at x denomination to get to y."

I've never ever, not once ever had a cashout refused for any reason, wagering requirements or otherwise.

Now I'm sure some of that is due to the fact I only EVER play at very well established and accredited sites, most of which I've been a member at for a good number of years - but surely it's not just me?

No - definitely not just you.
I usually DO take bonuses - but I also have NEVER had a cash-out refused - even at non-accredited casinos.

IMO the vast majority of problems come from players breaking one of the T&Cs, either by accident, or on purpose.

I once left a penny in my account after playing with a bonus. Rival added a rule somewhere along the line that I didn't see--they wanted only Zero balance from a bonus play. Later I deposited and played video poker and won a Royal Flush for $1000.00. I cashed out---but checked back when I didn't receive notice of my withdrawal. They refused my cashout due to "ONE PENNY" ! They even deleted any reference to my play and attempted withdrawal from their records.

Technically---My Oops! What could I say!
    (Easy Come---Too Easy Go!)

    But then again---that was Rival!

I've never had a cashout refused either.
I've had to PAB once, but that was because they ran outta money, and just stopped responding to anyone.
Got paid after a while tho.
Now very strictly stay with the ones I know well, and that I know would never cause a headache.

Edit....Just read the post above this, and isn't that funny ?....my PAB was a Rival as well.

For RTG, if you wish to cashout it would be folly to take a bonus especially if its anything less than 50% and non-cashable. The variance kills you even if you get a monster win early. One must remember that the wrs are tied to both the bonus and deposit and even upon completion of wrs your balance will be whittled down to only a fraction of your original after a huge win. MG is different and actually though seemingly unappealing, the 20% -30% bonuses are actually quite good. Think of it, if you deposit without a bonus you normally wager thru your deposit 4 -6 times anyway. Now they are giving you an extra 20% for nothing. If you deposit $100 you would expect to wager $400 - $600 anyway but in giving you $$20 extra your WR is still $600. Get the drift?

I 'never' ever used to take bonuses

I couldnt work out how people could actually win on them The wagering requirements seemed so high. Then one day, seriously low on funds, I took up an offer of a bonus or two just to give myself more play time and cracked it! When I discovered it was indeed possible, I couldnt seem to get enough of them

However in the last 2 weeks I've been on a loosing streak so may go back to playing safe and flagging bonuses The problem with bonuses is they double your bank roll, you think you have heaps and play really stupid. Well I did.. When Im playing with just my limited bank roll (no bonus) Im seriously careful and it lasts alot longer. Of course I dont actually win anything but hey! One day
