Okay so it took about 6 years of reading about them but today I am finally going to try 32red casino. I was happy to stay at my "favorite" microgaming casino until they decided to take 5 days to pay me even though I am a very good customer.

Today I shall believe the hype. 32Red here I come !

well it was short and sweet. The casino would not even download for me. My firewall and antivirus picked it up as a trojan ( does that for everything casino related ) and even after turning it off it wouldn't download. I restarted the pc and tried again. No go for 32red I'm afraid. I did try.

You could give the flash version a try. The game selection is different... not all the games are there, but there are some not available on the Download client as well.

You could try "Save" rather than "Run" when downloading the casino. Then disconnect from the internet, disable your virus checker and firewall, and try installing that way.

Also, you could try 32Red's live help. They may have other suggestions for you. If you use a well known virus checker, I'm sure you are not the first player to have such a problem.

I use bit defender as my antivirus/firewall. Live support gave me a link to the website with FAQ which wasnt very helpful.
However I have tried to download other microgaming casinos as a test and it is not just 32 red, its all microgaming casinos. None of the 3 I tested will download. As an affiliate I hope not too many people are using bit defender or Ill be broke in a month lol.

In fact the flash versions are being blocked as well.

I may have to disable it or find an alternative anti virus.

did you recently update to windows 7?
if so, try and download, then right click the installer and "run as administrator"

I have always had windows 7 since I got this computer ( a few months ago ) and running it as admin did not help. I was denied flash version as well. I can only assume its bit defender as they seem to think everything to do with online casinos is a scam. Probably the worst anti virus for players and affiliates alike.

Mark from 32red however has already messaged me and was quick to try and find a solution. I will email him now .

You can try setting the firewall to learning mode, or interactive mode. If available.
My firewall always asks me if I want to allow the connection.

And maybe check the quarantined files. I've had similar stuff happen before and found the file in there. And with a simple do not quarantine, restore/exclude from scans, the problem could be solved.

Google chrome would not allow the use of the flash version but fire fox does. However the download will not start past the initial screen regardless of what browser I am using. Im wondering if this could be an update issue?

The issue was not bit defender but the Zone Alarm fire wall. Even though it was set to accept the casino it continued to block it. I have downloaded and made my first deposit. Wish me luck !
