Hello there, i found that they do this only to norwegian players since norwegian law forbidden to have VISA withdraw from gambling company in norwegian currency, however all the other sites just send the money in EURO with no problem to visa or bank tranfer.

they could at least have bank transfer wich is not a problem at all. the only withdraw option players have from norway is entropay or neteller while you can deposit with : VISA, Paysafecard, Neteller, Entropay, Bank tranfer, and the list goes on...

So, a player from Norway without either a Neteller nor Entropay account can NEVER be paid, yet they can freely deposit as much as they like.

A circumstance SO draconian ought to be made VERY CLEAR INDEED on the website, so that affected players arrange such withdrawal accounts before depositing any of their money. It is not even in the operator's gift to grant players Neteller or Entropay accounts, so a sudden change in policy by both could render it IMPOSSIBLE to pay ANY Norwegian player, even though they would be able to continue depositing. Such an eventuality could damage the credibilty of the operator, the network, and any associated company, such as NetEnt, who would be faced with an operator having taken deposits from a group of players it had no means to pay.

In such circumstances, the operator should ask for an assurance from the player that they have a valid means to receive withdrawals before accepting their wagers. This could be as simple as a tick box during registration, where the player agrees that only these two methods are available for payment of winnings.

That image is worse than I thought, and seems to be a case of chucking together 5 "random" images of approval into one low resolution file in order to lend an air of credibilty. It seems some don't even apply to the specific part of the operation on which they are shown, but are there simply because they are bundled into this one file. There was clearly never any intent to have these "seals" as "clickable" from the outset, whether or not this was a requirement of the issuing organisation. It is also unclear what part of the operation the various seals apply to, since all 5 appear regardless of relevance.

    .

    About MCC 7995 transactions.

The 7995 law in Norway prohibits financial institutions (banks etc) to approve transactions marked with the MCC code 7995 (code for gambling). So if a player tries to do a deposit in an online casino with his Norwegian credit card then the transaction usually will be automatically refused by the bank. But many casinos (especially Net Entertainment based casinos) will use a third party company in these transactions so that the transaction isn't marked with the gambling code. This is completely legal for the casino and its Norwegian players. It is also legal for Norwegian banks to accept these transactions. Betsson, Unibet, Nordicbet, MrGreen and others are using this method.

My first point is, if Bet24 is accepting Norwegian credit card deposits (I do not know, but they do accept it according to the OP), then these transactions must go through a third party . If so, then they of course also would be able to process withdrawals using the same method. I have actually never seen a Net Entertainment based casino who doesn't offer bank or CC withdrawals to Norwegian customers. I will see it as a major problem for Norwegian customers if Bet24 is accepting CC deposits from them but doesn't allow CC or Bank withdrawals.

I will also mention that 7995 transactions isn't rejected based on currencies. It really doesn't matter if the casino sends the money in EUR or NOK.

As previously stated, I would not recommend them. But this does not mean that I see them as rogue or anything. Bet24 has a fair reputation in Scandinavia and you will be paid etc. But I will rather recommend other and much better Net Entertainment based casinos like Nordicbet. One of the biggest problems with Bet24 (from what I've seen reported from other players ) is their customer support.

I have actually noticed that myself just recently (also experienced it last year when I tried them out with a few deposits). For example when I contacted them about the eCOGRA issue in this thread. I wanted to ask them what the eCOGRA seal said. I contacted the English support team by live chat. It took a while but they finally replied "hello, welcome to live chat etc...". I asked my question and...No. Absolutely nothing before they closed it. I then contacted the Norwegian live support. He was kind enough to tell me what the seal said but only after I had explained him several times what I was asking about.

Another example when I asked them about their downlodable Net Entertainment casino a few weeks back. I just wanted to know when they launched their NetEnt created download casino. Their replied me with:

"We have had the NetEnt download casino for many years"

Yes, that was all they wrote. Of course, I was a bit surprised by this answer since Net Entertainment released their downlodable casino last year (or actually at the very end of 2009) and Nordicbet was the first casino to offer it.

From NetEnt.com ("the solution" refers to the downloadable casino and the statement was released in Jan 2010 by Net Entertainment):

"Nordicbet, one of Net Entertainment’s oldest customers and a successful, well recognized operator, was first out to deploy the solution just before the Christmas break".

So yeah, the staff at Bet24 should be better educated.
