Grand Reef Casino - Do I Continue? Advice Wanted

I have been playing at Grand Reef Casino, Playtech casino since June 2011, I have deposited over 6 months about $5000 and have not won anything more then about $150 and becuase the win has been so low I have made zero withdrawals. I usually deposit between $25 and $100 in any given day and I play 3 to 4 times per week.

My questions is, do I keep playing with Grand Reef Casino hoping that the amount I have lost will soon turn into a large win or do I let go of my losses and start playing at another casino?

What are the chances that I could hit a big win if I stick to Grand Reef Casino or is it more likely that their games are so tight that I am just going to keep losing and probably never win.

Interested to hear advice from other gamblers.

My opinion - uninstall and find a new place to play. Not only because you're not winning anything, but because in your other post you mentioned that they told you that your transaction history was confidential. It's true, it's confidential to YOU, the player, but for them to refuse to let you know your history is bordering on roguelike behaviour, IMO.

Well first off, you are posting in the wrong section! This is the "Introductions" section - you should really post questions like this in the "Online Casinos" section because you are not new here now!

But to your question: Casino games are random - they do not have a memory (except AWP's, which Playtech casinos do not have). So you have no more chance of "winning big" at Grand Reef than you would at any other casino. What you've lost is lost forever.
I think you should definitely dump this casino, given the info in the post above, and seriously think about trying a different software.

But I would be VERY interested to hear which games you have been playing, and at what stakes, at Grand Reef - because it's hard to believe you have been THAT unlucky.
Please can you share your experiences?

I would advise you to stop playing at Grand Reef Casino, because I have bad experiences with them. They slow pay or maybe never will pay my winning of 1680.02 Euro. On 10th September 2011 I have requested a withdrawal of 1680.02 Euro at Grand Reef Casino and still haven't received the money on my Moneybookers account. I have asked them serveral times about my withdrawal and they have always answered that they are working on that withdrawal and I would recieve the money very soon. Now I have submitted a PAB, hopefully this will solve the problem.

now back to the thread.... Chayton and KK pretty much have it covered here. Playing there or another playtech wont change the odds of hitting that big win, but it seems like you have other legitimate reasons to move on.

Thanks for your reply, wish I could find the correct area to click on to post a thread on the main forum list, looked for it over and over and eventually went back to the original email I received when I first signed up to casinomeister giving me the link to the newbies forum area, perhaps as you have pointed out that I am no longer a newbie you could direct me to the area that I need to go to to start a topic for the main forum or better still send me the link.

As for your question, I would normally play on average $1 to $2.50 per spin and the games I usually play are Iron Man 2, Gladiator, Rome & Glory and Gypsy Queen. I also play a lot of Joker Poker, Dueces Wild and Keno.

I will be taking your advice and that of other members to move away from Grand Reef.

Lady one thing you need to do is ensure you are playing at the correct coin size for your bankroll. Slots and VP are high variance games and money can go fast on these games. Not suggesting you have done this but another way to lose money fast is by upping bets after losing with the feeling you are 'due'. That behaviour has cought out many a gambler.

I think you could really benefit from taking a look at the wizardofodds.com site as it is crammed full of good gaming advice.

I don't know about Grand Reef but it would be a good idea I think to look at the Accredited section here to see what else is on offer which will help you to make an informed decision. As others has said your chances of winning are not affected by where you play. You could play the same games at other Playtech casinos and you chances of winning will be exactly the same. What is different is some casinos will offer bonuses and free chips to keep your custom if you like such things. They can be good but you do need to check out the bonus rules very carefully.
