Cool Nostalgia & 32Red Great First Experiences!

    Hi,

Just joined the site to report my experiences. Must be beginner's luck online. I have been gambling locally in land casinos in BC & WA. Decided I would try the online world. I have to admit I didn't find casinomeister until AFTER I had already deposited at a random casino.

1st experience was Nostalgia Casino - Truly Lucky Bonus!

It's not on the Accredited list here, but it is Microgaming and hosted by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, so I figured it would be okay.

I deposited $100 with my Visa - played 'Big Kahuna' - went quickly down to zero.
I deposited another $100 - played 'Big Break' - went quickly down to zero.
I got pissed off, uninstalled Nostalgia off my computer and vowed to forget about it.

Well a few weeks later I thought "Oh, I forgot to claim my bonus there"
So I re-installed it, signed back in and claimed my $100 Match Bonus available to me from my first deposit.
I did read the playthrough requirement which was 30x.
Undaunted, I figure what the heck and start playing 'Thunderstruck II' first $3 spins, then $6, then I figured what the heck and did max$15
Wouldn't you know it... I hit the three Thor hammers and 10 free spins, I was up to $800
A couple more big hits I was up to $1200
I clicked 'banking' and of course it said I couldn't withdraw yet as I hadn't met play-through requirements.
So I kept constant $15 spins, went down to $400, then more Thor's hammers to free-spin up to $1000 again, another big hit to $1200, played down to $1000 and clicked Banking
The funds were now available for withdrawal! So I clicked $900 withdrawal to Visa.

They did hold it in Reverse Withdrawal for 48 hours, and then once released, I got an email from CasinoRewards (the owner of Nostalgia) to please scan and email my Drivers License, Credit Card, and recent statement as a one-time policy to determine identity. So I did, with half my card numbers blacked out and the CVV on the back blacked out for security. It kinda pissed me off that they wanted all of this personal info, but I figured it was worth it to get paid.

A day later they emailed me saying the withdrawal was processed.

And today $900CR arrived on my Visa - from a $100 FREE Bonus Play.

After signing up here to tell you guys about this fun free money story, I discovered that 32Red is the world's best ranked online casino so I signed up to give them a shot.

    2nd experience - 32Red - GREAT CHOICE!!!

I deposited $200 from my Visa to 32Red
Started to play 'Thunderstruck II' again, worked my way up to $15max bets, and wouldn't you know it... Thor's Hammers several times.
Long story short, my $200 turned into $2400 which I have withdrawn to my Visa. By the way 32Red didn't ask for all of the personal info, and they only hold your Withdrawal Request in 'Reverse Withdrawal' mode for 4 hours. I can see why they are not only accredited, but #1

The online chat help on both Nostalgia & 32Red were quick and helpful in explaining their policies.

    YEAH BABY!!! Woo-HOO!

I took a screen shot of the $1500 win at 32Red after the 10 free spins of Thor's Hammers completed on my $15 bet.

    Welcome to the forum!

But....... a word of warning.... you have been INCREDIBLY lucky - I have been gambling online over 11 years and I wouldn't DREAM of playing max bet on ANY slot!
Please take care and lower your bets in the future... otherwise I think you could be in for a very rough ride.

    Cheers!

Thanks KK... It's not a usual habit, but I figured as a new player to get past the 30x playthrough of that $100 Bonus from Nostalgia meant I'd have to bet big... Trust me I was shocked it actually worked.

No excuse for the 32Red session, that was my real money I was using and again I know I was very lucky. I first withdrew $400CAD and then let the $2000CAD sit in my account there for a few days, tempted to go do it some more. Luckily, the logical/practical side of me realized what a lucky win it was and I withdrew the entire $2000 to my Visa.

I mainly wanted to share my experience about the Nostalgia Bonus actually paying out.

    Good luck to everyone!

I have, and have been VERY lucky on occasion doing so. BUT, as KK points out, you can very quickly get taken to the cleaners, and even $2000 can vanish quickly at a $15 bet if the slot goes cold. The higher the variance of a slot, the bigger the lucky wins can be, but also the bigger the losses can get over a relatively short period.

Try it in fun mode for a bit, and get some idea of how fast these slots can take 2K off you at $15 a spin on a bad day.

Gratz on your wins FMB, and to add to the good advice given, be careful with bet sizes when playing with a bonus as there are % of bonus restrictions (normally 30%) so a bonus of under 50 credits and 15 credit spins would be a huge no-no, but anyway`s you have made a very good choice with 32Red, they also own another 3 Microgaming casinos - Dash, Golden Lounge and Nedplay .

    P.S.

You do not need to bet big to beat a playthrough . KK is the w/r Messiah here .

Thumbs up I did it again @ 32Red!

Deposited $200 to 32Red this morning, played $6 spins for awhile, hit the 3 Thor's Hammers to take me into the Bonus Round, in 'Loki's Magic' - not a great bonus but not bad, took me up to $356, so I started $15 spins and on the second spin hit 3 Thor's Hammers again! This bonus tho, on the second to last spin, the 'Wild Magic' symbol came up and transformed enough symbols to give a huge multiple 5-of-a-kind win... $1700 on that one spin alone!

I immediately withdrew $2200 to my Visa. Needless to say it's a great Monday.

Thumbs up Streak Continues @ JackPotCity.com!

What can I say... I've been Thunderstruck II again! So I signed up for JackPotCity.com about a month ago, deposited $500 in about 3 deposits... Lost it all quite quickly.

Signed back in this morning with a good feeling, deposited $200. Played Thunderstruck II $6 bets to start, got 3 Thor's Hammers, with a small bonus win that took me up to $254. I then started playing $15 spins and after several, the completely random 'WILDSTORM' feature started. Wildstorm can be a real disappointment, sometimes Thor only changes the center reel to WILD which results in no win at all. This spin however was the much better result of a Wildstorm, with Thor changing the first two reels WILD... Here's the screen shot:WildStorm.jpg
$1147.50!!! I immediately withdrew the entire $1301.80 to my Visa

As others have said ... if you keep going like that, you WILL hit the bottom, and you WILL hit it hard, so please take peoples advice, and lower your bets, while it's still fun.
It's your money, and we are just giving you advice, but there are a lot of people, with a lot of experience in this forum, and trust me, most of them are not talking out their arse.
By failing to prepare you are preparing to fail.

Thank you for your advice... I'm not stupid & I wasn't born yesterday! I've been playing at land casinos since 2001 so trust me when I tell you I have had many rough sessions as well as some memorable big wins.

I just wanted to share the true joy of my very lucky wins because that's what they are... LUCKY! This didn't come from flat $15 betting, I worked up to it and chose to bet it at the lucky time.

I know how fast $15 spins can eat $200, but I don't have time to spend hours online either, so it's either gonna win quick or lose quick, and that's my session for the day.

LaHutti - You have no idea how many dues I've paid at the land casinos learning to balance the gambler's impulse to keep betting big and the winning intuition when to walk. I appreciate and hear what you are saying and I am gonna cool it for awhile.

The excellent part about online casinos is once you've made the decision to withdraw, that money is in limbo long enough to let you cool down and absorb your win.

I do think it's telling of each individual casino operator how they set the time limit for 'reverse withdrawal', shows how much they care about their customers.

32red is the shortest I have seen out of the only 3 casinos I have played... 4 hours
    JackpotCity ...24 hours
    Nostalgia ...48 hours

It's all good....a lot of people just learn the hard way, and all the advice given here is well meant. Noone thinks you're stupid, or was born yesterday, but sometimes even experienced gamblers can need a little friendly reminder, if they seem to be "going crazy".
As an experienced gambler, I'm sure you know what I mean.
By failing to prepare you are preparing to fail.
