Sattty was talking about Dolphin Coast - not a new MG slot - that was released in October LAST year...
You were playing Dolphin Tale - a MUCH older slot - released in August 2006!

I also noticed Dolphin Tale appeared as a "new game" at Ladbrokes - if I was a sceptic, I would say Microgaming have labelled this slot as "new" just because there is a brand new movie just out called... Dolphin Tale!

I don't believe this is a Microgaming 'stunt'.

I encounter this confusion a lot of the time in trying to keep tabs on genuine new games being released by the various software companies. The operator takes on a game (not necessarily a new release) and then punts it as a "new game", which technically for that operator, it is.

Well maybe that does happen occasionally, but definitely not in this particular case; Ladbrokes have had Dolphin Tale since it's first release in 2006.
