The newest slot from Net Entertainment, Robin Hood: Shifting Riches will be released very soon. I must admit that I was quite disappointed with their latest release, Kings of Chicago.

But this new game looks much better in my opinion.

I will let you know when I see it available in my regular casino Nordicbet (they are usually one of the first to launch new NetEnt games)

Net Entertainment has released a 10 min video preview (free spin feature at 6:40) :

This game looks awesome. I cant wait to play it. :D

Yet another very original looking slot from these guys.

Yes, I also think it looks very cool

The intro movie is impressive. And the gameplay has funny and nice looking animations.

One of the best looking games I have seen in a while

Robin hood

Been waiting for this for ages.
I know it's out on the 14th at some casinos.
The bonus game looks amazing.

.

Just wanted to mention that Net Entertainment also will release a new slot in December with a well known theme. And they have scheduled to release their second Universal license slot during the first quarter in 2012 (the first Universal license slot they released was "Frankenstein").

Anyway, here are the paytable for Robin Hood :)

I just tried this game for fun. It's good looking and the potential for big wins is definitely there.
I'm not sure what to think of the bonus trigger yet though.

It's one of those games where you don't have a natural start and ending point of your session.
While collecting bags you "invest" in your bonus round and it seems you're always gonna have a chest with just one bag missing.

You're gonna have to leave some value in the game after each session, unless you manage to trigger each chest without getting more bags.
It will keep you coming back.

Jury's still out for me lol.

At least you will not lose your bags when you end the seesion :D

I actually think this is an exciting idea. It is good to see a game without the endless chase of 3 scatters in my opinion

Looks good, but we'll never see a FS session like that.

The free spin session from 6.40 min is "only" a 155 x bet win (I think?), so I do not see it as soooo impossible ;) (I have not watched the entire clip, so I do not know if there are any other FS sessions there)

Man, that is one interesting looking slot! I am sooooo jealous of all you non-USA folks that you get to play so many really cool slots and we can't. Maybe some day, huh? I am happy for the rest of you guys that do get to play this and all the other really good slots at all the non-USA casinos.

Thanks for posting that, RM.

This wasn't so good slot after all. I tested the game with play money (£10 bet) and this is the result with freespins:

I am still waiting for it to be launched at Nordicbet. As mentioned before, Nordicbet is a Net Entertainment beta partner so they usually release new games earlier than most of the other casinos (one week before official launch or something). This time, the new game- Robin Hood is currently only available at Stan James (to my knowledge). Stan James is probably another beta partner for new Net Entertanment. For information, beta partners are not allowed by Net Entertainment to promote new games before the official launch. So certain beta partners will launch new games about a week before other casinos, but they can not tell their players about it (promote).

Anyway, I thought the official launch was today so I am hoping it will show up soon at Nordicbet and other Net Entertainment based casinos.

So its a bad slot based on one free spin round.
Well actually it sort of proves that it really is random - surely no-one would rig a game to piss-off their players so much! :p
It does really suck though when you get a nil-return from free-spins on ANY slot (I should know - I've experienced than MANY times) and it only makes it worse when the screen says "CONGRATULATIONS you won NOTHING!"

Looks a really interesting slot and I can't wait to play it.
But I'll have to, because when I tried to open an account at Stan James a few weeks back it was refused for some unknown reason. :(

That screenshot was also from fun/play money-mode. No rigged games would give such a bad win in fun mode during free spins :p

As mentioned, I was first told that Robin Hood would be officially released on September 9. That was obviously not correct, but I now see that several promotion/affiliate sites are writing that this game will be officially released on the 14th of September (available around noon CET), so a couple of more days before it is available in Net Entertainment based casinos

.

I see that Robin Hood has finally been launched :D

Screenshot is from Nordicbet. I would think it is available in other Net Entertainment based casinos shorty if "your" casino has not launched it yet.

My firsth thoughts: boring as hell... The reespins, winning an additional 10 cents each time, just gets tedious. Not an instant favorite for me.

The reespins in ordinary play will at least give the player long playtime :p

I played it for awhile and got 71x bet from the normal game, reels kept sliding to the right and I got 5 fatties :D

I even managed to get the free spins but was sorely disappointed.

The game says "EXTRA WILD" which I would assume is the normal wild plus one of the new ones, this is not true.

You get a new wild, but you lose the old one, and I only got about 20x bet in the free spins.

Total less than 100 spins so I must have gotten lucky with the free spins, but didn't go back to play it after.

.

I have only tried some spins in the highly exciting "fun mode" :p , but what do you guys think of the variance of this game?

Yes agree. I got a medium variance feeling when I tried it in fun mode. But as you, I have only tried it for a short time.

Many of the Net Entertainment games are high variance in my opinion, so probably great for those who like lower variance :)

I'm going to give it one more shot.

I can't seem to hit anything on it, nor that chicago one. I'm not sure if they are medium variance....jury is still out for mine.

I think that the Chicago slot is higher variance. But what do I know, I usually only play Piggy Riches and Mega Fortune anyway :)

Piggy Riches, Flowers and Dead or Alive for me. The Old Chicago slot din't do it for me, nor the Robin Hood slot...

Agree. The Chicago slot was terrible. I think Nifty must try some of the games that you have mentioned here

I know that "Dead or Alive" is very popular. Hardly tried it myself but I have seen some of your screenshots :)

I tried this slot at Mr Green last night with 40p spins. Waited ages for the spins and won £2.40
Thats not an issue as thats the way it goes with any slot ( had over a x1000 win on Scary 2 last week ).
I was getting a bit bored after several hundred spins but I did not lose much of my original deposit on the game. Would love to see some winning screenshots eventually.

By the way, you can try the game in fun mode Link Removed ( Old/Invalid) . (It links to NetEnt.com, Net Entertainments official site)

Just received 10 FS on this slot from Mr Green, like the new approach to the rolling reels - west to east instead of north to south, 10 spins wasn`t really enough to give a good assessment though. My overall opinion is the software designers of all casinos are lacking creativity, most new slots are mainly a rehash of previous ones with a slight difference of their mechanics.

Actually I was thinking more that the creativity is there but it's at the expense of playability a lot of the time. Gonzo, X-Men, LOTR spring to mind.

Finally got to try Robin Hood last night - at Betsson:
Well, it's definitely a high-variance beast! :eek2:

Basically it was just eating my money for fun, with only tiny wins popping up. I guess I was lucky to hit 2 largish wins in the region of bet x 70 - 80, which did extend my playtime long enough to get the free-spins once...

But when I did get those free-spins all I felt was conned!
It uses a different reel set for the free-spins - just like TS2, most of the big symbols are removed and replaced with loads of 10, J, Q, K & A - it doesn't mention that on the pay-table! :(
Also, the pay-table says one symbol becomes the Extra Wild during free-spins - but I don't recall seeing any regular wilds on the reels...?
I did hit one nice little run of small wins & my final free-spin return was around bet x 30 I think (I was so pissed-off at that point that I didn't take a proper note of the amount).

Lost FAR too much money on it, but now I have 3 money bags on 2 reels, so I guess I'll have to keep playing to see if I can get a better free-spin result, and also check if those regular wilds are there or not...

KK

Still haven't seen normal wilds during the free spins, so if they exists its way too rare :P

The free spins killed the game for me, it feels like a con when they happen and you hardly win anything.

I'm sure someone will get occasional big win based on RTP, but I'm stopping my donations to Robin Hood

Well I got the free-spins again... and got a WORSE result!
It was only Bet x 10-ish

Also, the regular wilds DO NOT appear in free-spins.
So calling the changed symbols EXTRA Wilds is a LIE!
I'm not happy - as you can probably tell!
