    Question 32 Red

Hi all! First of all, I hope this is in the right place? It is regarding 32 Red I know this may be a shock to many "it is to me, that I feel I've had to come here for a stright answer". Last Friday 1st, I bought a Ukash voucher for £32 to play on 32 red. My account is in USD. When I checked the exchange rate, it said I should get $51.43 for my £32, which was fine as I needed $50 for the bonus match of 50. When I put the voucher into the casino, it gave me $49.80 in my account I phoned CS and explained this to Merryn Swan, who told me that they use XE for convertions. We both checked at the same time for the £32 and got the same " 51.4304 USD". I asked if he could pass this on to look into it for me and get back to me with an answer as to why it was short " admittedly by a small amount" and how many others has this happened to? Merryn gave me the differance and added the bonus for me I had to wait for the finance person "havent managed to get a name for this person so far" to check into this for me and anyone else this may have happened too I phoned twice on Monday the 4th and again on the 5th. I was told by Merryn that he had just spoken to the payments manager and he said it was Ukash that are to blame for the differance I asked Merryn to get this person to send his findings to me in an e-mail, so I can go to Ukash and see what they have to say regarding this comment and he said he would, but still havent got anything. I must say that I have "up untill now!" found 32 red to be very good in all aspects of thier operations. Good platform, good and polite CS and great bonuses! Yet on a matter that could be very important to MANY?, that have to have thier money converted, I had to chase for an answer as to why I was basically short changed and then only got a third hand message that it was somehow Ukash that was responcible for this and "payments manager" could,nt even send this in an e-mail to me. I have deposited with other casino groups using the same method and got exactly what I should have got based on XE currency software. I also had this problem a few weeks ago, but didn't think to much on it at that point, untill it happened again I also have my account in USD, just so that I might last a bit longer and get more for my playtime, just incase anyone asks Have never cashed out anything from here ithere! I hope someone can clear this up as it may affect alot of people. Allthough it was a small amount, if you take it and multiply it with whoever has had this done to them and not noticed and over what period of time, it makes you wonder how much has been lost on simply convertions and more importantly, WHY P.S. Here is an email Merryn sent to the finance person "who ever he is?".

    Hi,

Just had a player come on 32RE0____86 said he used a £32 UKash voucher to deposit into his $’s Casino account and this gave him a balance of $49.80 although our XE software said 32.00 GBP = 51.4304 USD any suggestions or if this is even to go to you?

Thanks sorry to disturb your weekend.

The correct procedure is to contact the rep here first before you post, which you can do by PM to "Steve@32Red".

Personally, I don't see what they have done wrong thus far but anyway.

Its also odd that you wouldn't use pounds, as you are losing money via conversions going in and out.

People play with usd in some cases because it extends play time. it gives you more bang for your buck if youll pardon the expression Since casinos use credits, you get a lot more of these to play with if you only have a certain budget available. Many people play for enjoyment and time spent playing, not just the hope of winning and buying usd from your pounds gives you many more credits to play with, although i do agree you do lose money on the conversion process.

I use $US at just about all casinos who allow it - including 32Red!
Two reasons: First when I opened my Neteller account the majority of casinos ONLY worked in $, so that's what I chose at Neteller - my preferred method for funding my gambling. Second, as per the above post, I "get more credits" than I would in £, if that makes any sense!

I had the same kind of thing happen to me when i made a deposit of $50AU on 3rd June with Ukash.

It only gave me $50US right to the cent and i know for sure that was wrong as our dollar is worth more than US, but it was only by a couple of dollars and i couldn't of been bothered asking what had happened as i was lazy and it wasn't much money i lost but assumed it was a Ukash problem.

I deposit occasionally with Ukash on 32Red and had never had this problem before or since then.

If it happened at some other casino or happened again i would of been a bit more concerned but i have 100% trust and confidence in 32Red that they are not doing wrong by me, they are ranked above all others that i play at..and i know if i had said something, they would of jumped through hoops to help me.

I have played online for 7 years now and many casinos have come and gone and there are still a few i play at but none have even come close to 32Red. I feel safe with them and know if i have a problem, they are always there to help and they actually do help...not just feed me a load of b*ll$h*t to shut me up.

I'm sorry this happened to you, but you were playing at the right place to be helped...I mean IMO you would of had a harder time trying to even get another casino to fully understand what your problem was and what outcome you wanted to come out of this, let alone solve it for you.

If they had to contact Ukash, maybe that is what is holding things up. You should give it a little more time, in all honesty if this was your first time having this problem and for a small amount that 32Red still gave you the bonus for anyway, i would just wait it out.

    Hi

i have to agree with the previous post. It seems that they were trying to be helpful and solve your problem which is more than you can say about a lot casino support.... (and for me that is really important). I don't know how 32Red works but it makes sense that is an Ukash thing, they are the ones converting the money, no?

Thank you Nifty for putting me right on where to post As for what they have done wrong? I was only trying to confirm who was responsible for the shortage in exchanging the currency, but could not go to Ukash to ask them until I got 32red's comment in black and white! But only eventually got that "black and white" after posting here As I stated in my first post, it was a small amount, but take that over a lot of transactions and the rest I'm sure you can figure it out? Before I go to Ukash and ask them why it's short and is it a charge of some sort and if so does it state it in their t&c? I needed 32red's comments just In case Ukash say it's down to 32red As for why I play in $, I thought I covered that in my first post also, but you may just have missed that bit
