    888 casino and 3dice thoughts ?

Hi, just wondering what people think of 888 casino. I joined about a month ago and have been hitting pretty good wins (albeit on pretty big bets). Not sure if their jackpot slots are linked but they seem to go off quite regularly, never goes past 18k before someone hits it (whenever i login i always see it back at 8k). They seem to be a casino targeted at the high end gambler.

Their live casino is good if you have a good stream, i was shocked to see the number of big VIP gamblers playing BJ there, betting 5K a hand.

Anyway, so far they have been good in my eyes, would prefer a few more slot options. Have an issue with one outstanding payment, but other than that, I think a fairly worthwhile casino.

Comparing it to 3dice. Is this casino known to have low RTP ? 7K deposit went within 3 hours, so i asked for a life ban. Luckily won it back on 888 that same night. Every time I sign up a 3dice i always get sucked in with their great customer service (which is good, Enzo and Anna are very friendly), but their slots are really tight. Probably lost over 30K there in the past 6-12 months. Maybe just not a casino for semi-high rollers.

They are not known to have low RTP, but they are known to have high variance games. So you should probably have lowered your bets. It would indicate to me that you have betted too high if you have lost 7000 in 3hours on slots.

Anyway, good luck with your play

When I went to download 888 it said I was in a region where casino games were not offered.

How were you able to create an account? Did you check with them to confirm Australians can play?

I was also under this impression that 888 did not accept Australian players in there casino but they did for Poker. So would be interesting to hear how the OP signed up or if they get paid.

To answer the OP. TBH I would be sticking with 3Dice (out of the 2 you mentioned) and just lowering my bets a bit, there slots are high variance so when you do eventually hit its usually something nice. At least with 3Dice you know you will get paid and promptly, 888 casino has to much of a shady past for my liking.

    Cheers

Regarding 3Dice, a breakdown... I have been gambling online for around 3 years and most of my play has been at MSG casinos including those UK brands that use MGS as well as other software (Sky Vegas, Virgin, Ladbroke`s etc), I have deposited at over 60 MGS casino`s and a select few I have regularly played at, in this time I have never had an actual jackpot and only ever hit 5 scatters once on - Break Da Bank Again (which bared hardly any significance whatsoever as it has no monetary value nor winnings multiplier just more free spins).

There are also a few other casinos I have used, out of these there is only one I have played at more than once----3Dice, I have made a few deposits here and nearly as many withdrawals, in my short time here I have hit this, which was my 1st ever 5 scatters....

    1stever5scatters.jpg

    And a week ago, this.....

    3Dicex5scatters.jpg

Also, I have played in more free roll tournaments than I care to mention and apart from a recent win had never won once, at 3Dice however I have won around 5-8 and one I managed to make the w/r and have a nice withdrawal.

So in the nutshell, okay we have MGS and other software slots with their awesome jackpots and uber features, Wildstorm and £2430 for a .30p bet for eg, but, and it`s a big but, how many people have ever won one of these?, I can honestly say I must have wagered in excess of £1 million through TSII since it`s release, my deposits over the past year are well over 50k and most of that has been spent playing this slot and the best i`ve had is x3 wildstorms twice, I would virtually guarantee that the same money used playing any chosen 3Dice slot would have netted the big one .

Some advice...Go back to 3Dice and get to know the slots via tournaments, and try again .

    P.S.

Go take a wander through the screenshot section, see how many from 3Dice are there and think to yourself that 3Dice is a standalone unique one off casino, whereas there are 1000`s of players using the various other software providers whom have posted screenies.

Yes there is something going on there. I hope the player isn't pulling a fast one.

When Rachel gets back I will ask her.

I'm actually based in Asia (travel constantly through the region), but use an Australian CC to deposit. They were quite strict on the verification process and even called me on the Asian cell number I gave them to confirm my identity. I had no troubles depositing and receiving cash outs (bar one that's being looked into). Their cash out has an AUD option, so I assume they would take Aussie players.

As for 3dice, the RTP's on even their medium variance games I feel are low. After depositing and losing initial 4K playing a mixture of high and medium variance I chatted with one of their reps who informed me I should try hitting big on the medium variance (they have no low variance games . 3K later playing ONLY the medium variance, was back to zero with very minimal feature hits and very low feature wins. Oh well, maybe it's just me that has no luck at 3dice.

I'm not an affiliate of any casino, just a regular player giving an opinion.

A fast one ? not sure what the implication is there. I've ever only pulled a fast one on TIV and that was just due to insider knowledge. AND they deserved it !!

I'm of the opinion that the variance on the slots during tournament play might be different to cash play.

You're entitled to your opinion, but you are wrong.

What "fast one" did you pull on TIV? What kind of "insider knowledge" could you have that could help you? I'm fascinated.

My understanding is that they don't accept Australian residents/citizens in the casino. If this applies to you, I would be careful as they may decide not to pay you on those grounds.
