    Slotmine-This Doesnt Seem Fair!

Hi I need some thoughts on the recent problem I had at slotmine and their new slot LOST CITY. I could have posted this earlier but have gave the casino a right to reply to which they have.

I hadnt played there in a few months mainly because they dont have a large selection of new slots, the ones they they have been around for years.Like roaring 20s,heaven and hell and cleopatra. But anyway I recieved a free cash bonus in my account. So logged in and it was a full 2.50 and as usual got sucked in and deposited into my account.

I got my balance up to 150 playing various slots then noticed a new slot LOST CITY so I started playing this slot. This slot consists of two different bonuses a free spin bonus and a QUEST BONUS-The quest bonus starts when the a quest symbol appears anywhere on the reels. Every time the symbol appears on any reel u recieve quest points usually between 20 and 220 points dependant on a choice of icons u select during your quest.

You have to accumulate 4500 points to activate the end of the bonus where u actually win something.

I played the slot for around 250 spins and had accumulated 3750 quest points and lost 23 pounds.I was aiming for the bonus then quitting the slot. All of a sudden I got a message saying "not enough money" when i pressed spin even though i had 127 in my account.I contacted support who advised me to log out and log back in.

Now here is the part that pissed me off ,after i logged back into my account and the game all my quest points were gone! it was reset to ZERO! I contacted support and after several emails I GOT THIS REPLY:

"We can confirm that, the error that you are referring to occurs due to Internet disconnection or lag. And if you try to continue playing and click on spin you will get the "Not enough money" error message. All you have to do is logout completely, wait for 5 to 10 minutes, login back and load the game window and the game will resume from where it was stuck.

But, once the game is closed all the quest points will be lost with out any possibility of recovery.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused due to this. Unfortunately once the quest points are lost it cannot be refunded."

Is it just me or does this seem unfair? basically what they are saying is if a fault with there server or a problem at the players connection maybe a dip in the wifi signal for instance, then the player will have to start all over again to try and get to the bonus! RUBBISH!

That's a bit cheeky. I'd like to hear what Bryan thinks of this.

I've been cut off in the middle of free spins and bonus games loads of times at various casinos, but the spins or game always resume once I reconnect. Likewise on games where you are building up some kind of achievement, like this.

This is rogue software, as it REQUIRES you to "chase" for the bonus in a single session. Every time you quit having not "chased" all the way, part of your payout is STOLEN by the software. Depending on how much RTP is paid by the bonus, you could find you are left with a VERY low RTP when you keep losing the points due to running out of money or internet lag.

    What crappy software is this?

If this is how the games are programmed, this software should be avoided like the plague.

Lost City is Boss Media game.
Have always had the points stored after quitting the game and going back later.
    Kinda strange.

The casino is run by st minver they seem to be a really good legit casino and found them advertised in a few places. bonuses are fair, payout was fast the two times i have withdrew. The slots are limited though seem to be the usual bookmakers slots cashino, dead mans chest, alice in wonderland etc. Although all of there slot range between 10 coins to 100 coins a line minimum so some 20 line slots namely robin hood is 20 bucks a spin!,so u need a good bankroll.

I have the feeling i have just been fobbed off as they dont really know themselves,i wonder if i was a regular hi rolling player might they care just a bit more?

Also everytime i recieved an email it was from a different casino advisor. the second last email asked me for the details of the slot and time the fault occured ,which i had told them. Then underneath told me the bonus points on the slot would be lost if i disconnected,so why are the asking me for the details of the slot when they already know. Heres the email:

"Thank you for the email regarding your casino account.

We can confirm that in order to do an in-depth investigation. Please provide us with the following information:

    Game Id:
    Exact Date and Time:

Please be informed that if you have lost the connection or terminate the game, bonus points will be lost.

In the meantime, if we can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us"

I stopped playing with them due to their appalling CS so it seems that little has changed.

I would advise you to avoid St Minver. There are many better casinos with better playing experience and better CS.

Boss Media. They have always had this ridiculous rule on "accumulative bonus" slots where you lose all your "Bonus round credit" if you leave the game. It is stated in the rules AFAIK, but still extremely unfair IMO.

NetEnt also have a few games where your accumulated bonus "tokens" are lost if you don't play for 24 hours (or something like that), equally unfair.
Why these 2, otherwise splendid softwares, have these crazy rules is beyond me...

Wasn't too long ago when I played Roman Empire and Lost City at Sunset Casino and the points were stored. Strange.
