I think this is the same guy. First time he called me from Diamond VIP and said he was given my name by Michael Baxter who used to be with Rushmore. The other day same guy, same voice called me and said he was calling from Las Vegas. I feel like I'm talking to a Mafioso. The guy just has that swagger, voice, and makes me really uncomfortable. I've told these guys I'm not interested. I told Michael Baxter, via email, to basically get out of my life a few months ago, then he has the audacity to email me again a few days ago. These guys just creep me out. Anyone else? It upsets me that my personal information was taken from Rushmore group, who's accounts I closed, by Michael Baxter, and is being disseminated to people.

These are the kind of guys who give the industry a bad name, but I fear we will see more of them chasing after players, especially among smaller and less ethical operators squeezed by the hostile enforcement environment in the US, which must be cutting into their available player base.

The operatoir, Morriyen Investments, appears to be a Cyprus-based media company with online casino interests like Diceland Casino.

From the "About Us" section: "At Morriyen Investments we monopolize on this by combining the leadership qualities of Ex Special Forces soldiers with experienced financial analysts, award winning graphic designers and wiz-kid computer engineers!"

Morriyen also appears to have connections with the notorious Curgam Malta Ltd and Mighty Slots.

DiamondVIP is a relatively new outfit (launched early this year, I think) which is powered by Top Game and offers little upfront information on licensing or ownership.

That, combined with the adverse impression created by the likes of Mr. Goldberg, should warn any player to be cautious.

Thanks for pointing this out, jetset. Clearly tells me what we must not do if we don't want to discontent our customers.

I get calls all the time, actually recorded messages from "Christopher D'Angelo" of Cool Cat Casino and then another call from him pimping some other casino. Unfortunately the calls come in pairs because I get them on both my cell phone number and my home number. Pain in the butt. But don't know how to stop his auto calls......

I was going to say the same but you beat me to it.

I used to get weird calls from giving my number to online casinos so I started using Google Voice and giving that number when I sign up anywhere. I set it to not forward calls to my phone so I only get voice mails via email if anyone calls. I hate annoying calls where they want a deposit, or the ones with somebody with an accent and I have no idea what they are even talking about, google voice has eliminated all that for me. You guys should check it out, don't think you even need a gmail email address to get a number on google voice.

i get phone calls from a guy promoting cirrus casino. but i think cool cat called and its the same voice. i never pick up but about once a month i get the call. i never dep or give any money to these rogue casinos but way back in my past i had used the free chip just to play it out. now they haunt me.

I too was getting atleast 5 calls a day from ol' Christopher D. You know how I got them to stop. I got some guy who called, it was an actual person, and when I answered I said "Federal Agent Lori Garcia-Hofsdal, what can I help you with?" Heard a click and no one has called since. BAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA

Hmmm... Goldberg got in touch with me a few weeks ago - one of the shadiest people I've ever had the displeasure of talking to. I didn't bother to check out the casino (or even remember the name once I hung up) but now that its been mentioned that the casino he was "promoting" was a TG joint, it rings a bell.

I recognized his voice from a few years ago when someone named Mark called me from Rome casino. I had signed up with them ages ago to see how they were so they had my contact details. "Mark" or "Mr. Goldberg" seems to be up to his old tricks - as others have chimed in I would suggest staying far far away from places like this and finding a decent online casino to play at.

Has anyone else been in touch with Goldberg that was also contacted a couple of years ago by Mark as well? Now I'm curious... :p

Same guy. His name is Mark Goldberg. Comes across as a total slickster. And don't forget the association between former Rushmore group VIP Manager - Michael Baxter and Mark Goldberg. Bad combo, me thinks.

Ha! I can't believe that guy is still around. I still remember what he told me 2 years ago - I never forgot it because it sounded so bizarre to come from a casino, and is something I still remember to this day:

Mark: "Come on back and deposit - Magic Mark will take care of you"

Me: "Why do they call you Magic Mark?"

Mark: "Well, I'm not a wizard but I do make magic happen"

Maybe it was the mafioso voice and his aggressive way of talking that made it sound so funny.. I just wish I had that recorded :D

He called me again yesterday and was really, really pushy. I told him I was busy, that I was at work and he said something like "everyone is busy" but I need to tell you something...about something big. I told him, again, stop calling me! I hung up. Who is this POS? I want to know where he is. I'm fucking sick of him and this needs to stop. He's pursuing me and I don't like they way they are going about it.

He called me again today. {{Sigh}} I have asked these guys by email and I have told him on the phone to stop calling, but yet he will not stop. I feel like I'm being stalked and this thing is putting me out of my comfort zone, to say the least. Anyone playing with these people at romepartners, DiamondVIP or the like is playing with fire, IMO.

And casinos wonder why we are hesitant to give them a working phone number when we sign up.

I haven't had any experience with a Goldberg, nor do I get annoying phone calls (except from that darn Christopher D'Angelo from Cool Cat)..........but I will say that I have continued to play at Diamond VIP for the past 4 months and I enjoy the site and the games offerings they provide.

I have posted this before and it appears that my positive experience is rather unique among this group and I don't know why. I get paid within 2-4 business days consistently, before it was through QT and now its through wire transfer coming in as funds through JPMorgan/Chase bank. I get good service and instant responses to emails.

Michael Baxter was my VIP rep at Slots Oasis and he contacted me when he moved to Diamond VIP - so I gave it a shot. My first experience with fully cashable bonuses and I have done well at the site.

Maybe I am the ONLY one here at CM with good experience @ Diamond VIP, but I will stand by how they have treated me properly. I am not encouraging others to go there, just sharing my experience.

FWIW,
Diane
