I think they just decided to regroup, take it slow and not lose their affs in the process.

Concentrating on making existing players and affs happy and figuring out what to do with the US legal mess.

That would make sense to me and I hope it's so. I have no reason to distrust them (but then, I trusted Grand Prive also, so.... )

Revshare is only good for the casino as long as the affiliates bring in new players.

So as some have said its very likely CC will shut down the affiliate program down in the near future.
You're right about the negative carryover, but everything else that an operator does is factored in to the rev share. They don't pay affiliates a share of money that doesn't exist, only a percentage of true netloss of the player. The negative carryover is to promote new players like you say, if someone is -£50k from a big player that's been brought through the door then the affiliate isn't going to be interested in trying to claw back to positive, so it's in the operators best interest to write this off

It seems like we keep getting one piece of bad news right after the other. Will things every get better for affiliates? My stomach hurts now....

I completely agree- affiliate marketing is of a win-win type, so why not eat yourself and let other eat as well ???

when the competition is so tough, the casino management should think for a bit long term decisions,.... still I don't get it, if you generate profit from something, that is also benefitia to others , why not do it ?

OK "Casino Coins will no longer be accepting new customers effective May 16th, 2011."
I just checked my stats at cc and found a new registered player which made a real deposit on May 20th, 2011. Go figure?
