I don't play at any of these casinos but I saw in another forum that someone had received a mail from them about closing down for a 'software upgrade' and just wondered if that's what was going on there.

No idea as to why a lot of casinos have been switching their casinos to rival recently especially since all you read about rivals is bad things (moreso the white labels).
They are just crazy software.
Already you have some of the following issues.
Support can be slow/offline more than online.
Support dont know what "flushing" is or claim the new "rival" flushing system is just where they do nothing apart from put a tick on your withdraw so its "processed faster" (its still left as "reversible" for a certain amount of days)
Theres only very few deposit/withdraw options. For example they are more than happy to take you money in card deposits. But they dont pay out to cards. Meaning you can lose as much as you like with your card but then if you win something and try to cashout to your card you find out theres no option to withdraw to your card. Worse still you cant use any other withdraw method until using it to deposit.
For me I gave up on rivals ages ago and any casino I play at that switches to a rival will no longer be somewhere I want to play.

Hi,
Just saw that post.
It's not correct. Every now and then there is a schedule downtime for updates.
None of our RTG brands will switch to any other software. Our Rival brand, GoldenCherry.com, will of course remain on Rival.
Kind regards,
Daniel
I'm sure it's difficult to break loose the grip that the already established RTG casinos have on our wallets, and if they want a cut of the American dollars, Rival is really the only other option.
If I had a zillion dollars I'd open a casino and buy out that software that InChilli had, those games were awesome!

Ah - Player Preferred! I have some very fond memories of their quirky slots!
There are no casinos now with those games, but some Bingo sites do have some of them. For example, 888Ladies.com have White Wizard, Shaman's Dream, Fluffy Favourites, and a few others if you search hard enough!
Not sure if they take Canadian players - but it would be worth finding out if you fancy playing those games again!
