Well I have had NO contact from Neteller AT ALL apart from some VIP rep wanting to help me create a new security code over the phone. I said I wanted an email from Neteller VIP informing me I am going to be called and by whom before I go into any personal details (derr...my account just got hacked so why would I just spill my guts to someone 'claiming' to be from NT), so he promised to do that and organise to call me back.....and that was 2 weeks ago. I have no idea how my account was compromised or how I can prevent it in the future so as you can imagine I am totally pissed.

Now they have lost a VIP customer and MB is getting all my business, and I've found the fees lower so I'm actually saving money.

My advice to anyone thinking of going with NT is to think very carefully.
Moneybookers is better, yes. Neteller customerservice is horrible, they are located in india or somewhere in asia. Low cost and fees very high.
The exchange rate is bad +high fees when withdrawing. ($10 dollar!) for a banktransfer.

Oh dear!... this is dispicable behavior on their part. Well, no, I don't want some John Doe calling me up out of the blue, either. They want to be sure they're calling YOU, but you must be sure it is indeed NETeller phoning you! Anyone (the hacker?? - if that's what happened- who now has all your info!) can phone up and say I'm the NETeller flunky who needs to change all your new security log ins. Sheesh!

Is there no oversight of these ewallets? Anyone you can go to, file a complaint with?

All these security breaches (NT, MB, etc.) are serious business and the account holder deserves, at least!, something resembling customer service. Even if they won't tell you what happened, surely they can make proper arrangements to make things more secure in your account.
Alice: But I don't want to go among mad people.
The Cat: Oh, you can't help that. We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.

I'm most interested in hearing how this progresses. I doubt that Neteller is ever going to reveal much either, other than issuing Nifty a new account.

Nifty, if I was you, I'd be taking my PC to an expert to make sure there's no keylogger lurking somewhere, and I'd inform all the casinos you play at that there's been some kind of security breach. I'd make no deposits or withdrawals by any means until this is resolved. If you use a wireless router, I'd change all the security settings on it.

It's a scary world out there.
thank you for sharing! I completely agree to a single word you said.
