Summer Holiday (MGS) - that's odd

I have played this game before, and noticed that unlike every other slot, it has no autospin

Recently, I took a small bonus with a deposit, and within a couple of spins, I got the bonus round. It was "a bit crap", only £50 from a £2 bet, so I chanced it and refused the win for another go. The second go gave a little over £100, and there is no chance to turn that down, so it was awarded. I left the game to try another, and MY BONUS BALANCE WAS GONE, in that I seemed to have met WR on my £40 bonus, and the whole lot was cash.

    WTF

No way had I done 30x£40 worth of £2 spins - I had barely done 5!!

At first I was puzzled, but then I remembered that some while ago I was given 100 complimentary free spins at Red Flush on a deposit, and after refusing a first win from the bonus round, I found this refused amount had been ADDED to my bonus balance.

It is the complete opposite, and looks like although the PLAYER gets screwed when they use "try again" in a bonus round derived from complimentary free spins, when it is a standard deposit bonus it is the CASINO that gets a shafting.

This looks like an interesting "short cut" for making WR on a bonus, and it worked this time because my withdrawal was paid and there were no questions asked about the "short cut" due to this balance tracking error.

What might work as a tactic is to low roll, and ALWAYS refuse the first win from the free spins bonus round, knowing that upon refusal the same amount would be deducted from the bonus balance, and returned to the cash balance after the second try at the free spins. Every £1 moved this way saves on £30 of slots wagering, and it seems this bug has been present since Summer Holiday was launched, which was some months ago.

I have already complained about the previous case where the PLAYER gets screwed when it is complimentary free spins being played, and the casino simply filed my complaint in the waste paper basket, and I NEVER heard back, nor did anything come of their promise to get an audit done by MGS themselves.

Well, SOD YOU - should have taken it more seriously the FIRST time I mentioned it.

What's the betting they WILL take it seriously now that the PLAYER can benefit from the bug, and I'm sure this will get fixed, or the game removed, shortly.

    Months?
    It was July 2009 actually!
I'm surprised no-one else has spotted this before... or maybe they did & just kept quiet about it!

I DID, but the other way round where the PLAYER gets screwed. I complained not once, but SEVERAL times, and each time it was "referred to <whatever>", and after I REALLY pressured them, they said they would ask MGS to audit my complimentary spins session, but that they could see nothing amiss, even though my bonus balance was HIGHER than my total wins from the 100 complimentary spins, and higher by the EXACT amount that I had refused for the "try again".

It seems I was stonewalled at every step of the way, and then I hit £5000 on a fruitie, so rather lost interest in arguing any further about some £47, which I completed WR on in any case because I had such a good run afterwards.

It is only now that I see the bug working "back to front" when used on a bog-standard deposit bonus.

I may get offered some bonuses at the weekend, so I will see if I can repeat this at a different MGS casino, and I will try to look in more detail at what EXACTLY is happening, and take some screenshots.

It all depends on getting the free spins, and I am thinking that even if the first attempt is good, it may still be work refusing because that "good amount" will be removed from the bonus balance, and although the second go might pay much less, it will at least go to the CASH balance.

I have done "fruitie" fools for several Aprils in a row, so thought yet another would be spotted quickly, so decided to do one on a video slot that we already know is "a bit odd" because it has no autospin, thus making it believable that it was "buggy" in nature.

Sadly, my efforts were wasted because CM didn't do the usual kind of prank where the forum was still available, but under new ownership, but took it offline altogether for the whole morning. I posted mine just after midnight, and KK saw it soon after.

Had I known, I would have put this on the new GG forum as well

Well, there's always next year, and at least KK didn't spend over £200 on it like he did when I did that "Treasure Ireland emptier" and photoshopped a screenshot of it turning red and entering "invincible mode" - something MGS have now introduced into a couple of the newer fruities on Flash.

Last year, I posted that I had scooped Mega Moolah for £2 Million on Facebook for all my friends to see, as they all know I play online, but don't really understand how it works.
