Grand Privé wants to get out of the Rogue Pit

As most of you know, Grand Prive has been in and out of the Rogue Pit for some time - the latest roguing was in December 2009.

Recently, I was contacted by the GP affiliate program manager, asking what it would take to be de-rogued. I thought about this a bit and decided that the best way to deal with this is to put it to a public vote.

To get out of the pit, one is placed into the "Probation Section". For six months, casinos are observed for overall fairness and must avoid screwups. Player issues need to be handled swiftly and professionally. After six months and things are good to go, then they are out of the pit. There have been a number of casinos who have achieved non-rogue status in this manner, while some have failed.

Things to keep in mind: is the managerial team the same team as before? Have they had a major change of staff? Are the problems persistent, or have they diminished?

The purpose of the rogue pit is to inform - not primarily intended to punish. In my opinion, all casinos should be given an opportunity to pick up the pieces and try to put things back together again. The question is: should we put Grand Privé on probation? The choice is yours, please vote.

Are you setting up a poll?
or do you just want us to post our opinion?

I think you know my vote... No way!

How many chances are you going to give these guys?
I can see giving outfits in your Rogue Pit a way out, it's only fair.
However, after giving these very same people at grand privy chance after chance, they keep showing that they can't be trusted.

So who wants to be the NEXT big winner at Grand Privy that can't collect their money?

I want opinions and for the membership to vote. I have a good idea what affiliates have to say, but I want input from players - and possibly other operators as well.

I know I don't say much but on this I will.....my vote is NO!!!

Players should be provided with safe casinos with good reputations so they don't have to worry about being paid.

IMO if Grand Prive would screw affiliates they would also screw players eventually whether it be a year ago, now or year(s) from now.

They made their bed let them lay in it.

They still owe me a very respectable sum of money. They acknowledge this but won't pay unless I settle for a lot less and under conditions I cannot accept.

GP, get real and settle the rest of your monies owed!

Thats the key for me. If the same management are in place then who's to say they won't do domething down the line? The main issue affected affiliates but it showed a mentality and business ethic that could lead to decisions that cause issues for players or "partners" again one day.

If you have new management then I believe another chance to prove themselves (over a decent length of time) is fair, but only if all past issues have been settled in the correct way.

Even if the management has changed, it sounds like they haven't settled past differences.

Lock / delete this and start a new thread with a poll. Personally, I would want to know how they are handling players this past year. I have read some good things about them as of late, but I'd definitely want to know if management has been changed.
