    Thumbs down Rival 3D slots........

Have never played Rival before. Last night I downloaded and played some Rival slots. Only played 3D slots. My god!! What a load of crap they are!! They have a lot of potential(excellent graphics, good features, smooth play) but I was so let down by the paytables! What rubbish! They pay so low it is hard to believe anyone would play them.....I mean 5 of a kind wins of the second highest paying symbol betting 5x20 lines on a 1c machine($1.00) pays like $2.00. most bets you make 9 or 10c back for a 4 of a kind win. Maximum win you can get playing a $1.00 bet (5x20 lines on 1c =$1.00) is $40.00 if you don't get the jackpot. All the highest paying symbols pay 1200 credits!! Normally it's anywhere from 5000 to 15000 credits for all 5 highest paying symbols!! Absolute crappy payouts!

Shame really as they are excellent machines with amazing graphics! the only feasible way to win on them is to get the jackpot which is highly unlikely and rare, so for the most part you are throwing your money away! I blew through $150.00 in about 20 mins betting 40c up to $1.00! Couldn't believe it! Fortunately it was their money and not mine!

I don't think I would ever play Rival with my own money judging by the ludicrously low paytables!

    Thoughts?

    Cheers

Gremmy, a lot of people have given up on Rival because of too many different problems. Pay problems, white label casinos, and on and on. Look Rival up here on the forum and you will see why no one plays there any more, or a least many of us do not play there any more.

    Thanks..

Have never played and wondered what 3D slots were all about(Visions of me sitting there with 3D glasses on immersed in a whole new world of slots, alas they were just good graphics).
Was gobsmacked at the ridiculously low payouts.. Couldn't believe it! Which is why I posted.

I would never play again that's for sure. Only played because was given a free chip.

Have read all the bad reviews of Rival on Casinomeister and would never play there. Figured that free money is free money though! lol

    Cheers

Whoever came up with that latest rendition of slots at rival should have their ass shot off! Seriously, they are crap.

It's not just the 3D slots either. Rival's slots pay well on only rare occasions, and on slots where huge payouts are possible, most (or all?) of Rival's casinos have lowered the max bet to $2. It's just not worth it, in my opinion.

I'm not defending them, because I think their 3D slots are PPP (Pretty Piss-Poor); To start with they are clearly NOT 3D and the pay-tables are a bit lacking in information. But I do trust that the stated RTPs (95-97%) are correct as some fairly decent wins are possible in the bonus features. Wins in normal spins are generally crap, which means these slots are fairly high variance.

But anyway, which ones were you playing?
If you were betting up to $1/spin on a $150 bankroll you would need to get a few good features to keep you going, and based on my experiences so far, they are often a couple of 100 spins between the better ones.

The Rivals I have played recently only seem to have applied this $2 cap to the Scary Rich slots, ignoring the other high variance ones (e.g. I could play Spy Game at up to $37.50 /spin - if I was rich enough!). But I haven't checked all of them by any means!
Which other ones have they capped, do you know?

I have tried a few of the 3d slots and like others, am not impressed in the slightest.

I have had some good hits on other Rival games recently, and I only started playing at Rival again recently.

Pigskin Payout, Scary Rich 2 and Bowled Over are a few of the ones where it's possible to get great payouts. Apparently Opera Night is too, but I always end up losing a shedload on that machine without hitting ANY bonus rounds at all

    Thanks for that!
Funny, I wouldn't have rated "Fixer Upper" as high variance... I don't recall many screenshots of that one in the winners thread and there are loads of other Rival slots which I would say are capable of MUCH bigger wins than that one.
