Arrow Sports Interaction - old thread

I found out that Sports Interaction (Playtech) does not accept players from the Netherlands. When I asked live support about this, they replied:

The main reason we decline account applications from specific countries is because we may have software developers and/or affiliate companies with offices and call centers in that country. It would be considered a conflict of interest for us to accept account applications from individuals residing in these areas as per an agreement made with said affiliated companies.

I don't understand this answer at all. Actually, all playtech casinos accept the Netherlands. Is there someone who knows more about this? thanks!

Hi, Hope I can help with this one.

I think this kind of quesiton was asked the other day in another thread.

OK I'am From and live in Australia, I cannot play at any online casino that is licenced and or has contact with Australian ties.
The reason for this is conflict of interest as the operator said.

It's like if you work at a casino you can not play at that same casino as there is a conflict of interest.

It is more of a government move as opposed to a business decsion I think.

What does conflict of interest mean??

(A conflict of interest occurs when an individual or organization (such as a policeman, lawyer, insurance adjuster, politician, engineer, executive, director of a corporation, medical research scientist, physician, writer, editor, or any other entrusted individual or organization) has an interest that might compromise their actions. The presence of a conflict of interest is independent from the execution of impropriety.)

    Hi,

I am the Sports Interaction Casino rep on the forums.

I know this is an old thread but I would like to clarify the questions here.

    1. Playtech accepts players from the Netherlands

    2. Sports Interaction offers players different products based on their location.

US based players use our CTXM platform

All other locations are served by Playtech (with some exceptions)

I hope this is helpful in resolving this issue.

    Thanks

    Ross
