Hi all,

1Casino has set up an exclusive slots tourney, but no one is joining. Well, actually only two members have joined. I was hoping I could get some feedback here as to what is wrong with it. It seems pretty okay to me :D

I'd like your input so that in the future we can put together tournaments that you'll enjoy.

I had problems registering for the casino quite some time ago. I'd completed everything and then it failed. Wanting to make sure I didn't end up with duplicate account, I emailed support. I didn't get a response.

I pm'd the rep here, who got back to me and said someone from the casino would be in touch. When I hadn't heard from them, I contacted the rep again. I did receive a phone call from the casino, but it was at an inconvenient time. I asked that they call back later that same day, they said they couldn't. I asked that they call me the next day instead.

I haven't heard back from them. I already play at a number of casinos, there is only so much work I want to put into joining a new casino. If they are not more anxious than this for my business, I'm not that anxious to patronize them.

What if I had a withdrawal issue? I had no intention of complaining about this, but you asked.

1) I didn't even know about it - where was it advertised?

2) I am not interested in any "tourneys" which are just based on who wagers the most - what that basically means is whoever loses the most gets a small part of their losses back :(

3) What they should do is use the built-in Crypto tourney feature where everyone buys-in (once only!) for the same amount and then has 30 minutes (or whatever) to makes as much as possible with "fun money".

4) I wouldn't sign-up there anyway as their welcome bonus has ridiculous wagering of Bonus x 50
As their slots are thought to have an RTP of about 92%, that is criminal compared to most MG casinos where the WR is only Bonus x 30 and the slots pay about 96%.

You asked for feedback - you got it! :p

Agree with KasinoKing - one of the best part of Cryptos s-ware is the tournys with a buy-in and prizes for top 3 or whatever!

I think Casino \ wagering races are an insult to a lot of high wagering players.

VIPs who will almost certainly win the wagering race and have taken perhaps large losses wont be too happy about getting a small prize for losing their bankroll, probaly with a congratulory email - Well done for coming 1st in the race and losing all your cash!

If a casino has crypto software, they should get someone who actually knows how to make the best use of it!

Since I have often played in these wagering races, one of the biggest things likely to put me right off is a tiny prize compared with the risk involved. Why spend £10,000 coming first for a £100, £500, or whatever prize that is BONUS money in any case. I have NOT examined this particular tournament, but in general terms this is how I judge such wagering races.

If there is no running scoreboard I will not take part either. This simply makes the risk/reward not only large, but UNKNOWN. How would I know that my losing of £10,000 was futile because a pair of whales had taken down the top prizes at a cost of £50,000.
Scoreboards allow for strategy and planning, and even the standard Crypto tournaments have this, because unlike MGS, you do NOT have to blow your time allowance in one go, you can take it in bursts, and rest when you have a favourable position, but leave some time so that you can adjust your place close to the end. Crypto is also ONE buy in, none of this "999 continues/rebuys" as seen with MGS.

!Thanks for the feedback!

I have been in a meeting with cryptlogic.

And I can't make a buy-in tournament just for casinomeister players because cryptologic does not have a password system and every casino player on 1casino.com could play it and it wouldn't be a casinomeister celebration tournament or wager-race :)

That is why we have made it a wager-race. I am sorry for calling it a wager-race that is my fault. And to make it fair we are going to change the welcome bonus to 30x. And the special casinomeister bonus will have 110% match to 24x and the reload bonus the same for 60%.match reload.

And to make it awesome fair we are going to display the wagering on the leaderboard. So you know how much you have to wager to get on top! And to make it Super awesome fair we are going to have a leaderboard of 20 spots!

This will suck for me ofcourse because I have to update more stuff daily but hey someone has to do it.

All this will be in action on monday!

I have said it alot but we are a fairly new casino but we are all about making the players happy! We know that we wan't to be in this business a long time and not a short time!

Best regards

Morgan,

Hope you get better soon - by the use of your word *awesome* I suspect you are from S Africa - anyway, will you be updating all the time?

Crypto tournies, are often decided the last few mins \ secs, when top 5 or so are in contention to win.. thats why an upto the sec leaderboard is required.

(I didnt know sick days were allowed in the casino industry unless you were in hospital dying) :)

I suspect you might have got the "fob off" from Crypto, because a few years ago they were advertising a facility for players, but mainly affiliates, to create their own "invite only" tournaments. Surely they must have had to address the problem then of ensuring only those with an invite were able to register.

Wager races too are often decided in the closing stages, although probably not the last few seconds, but certainly the last day or so. If someone piled on a huge burst in the last day, there could be a "row" when the results are declared from players who are WELL in front by the start of the last day, and who see "no way" of them being beaten so close to the finish.

Some MGS casinos have such scoreboards, and they try to get them updated at least hourly, and even half-hourly. This, of course, is NOT done manually, but by using software that runs every hour to recalculate the scores, and then post the updated table on the website.

IF someone takes the welcome bonus to compete in the tournament, they are not likely to care whether the WR is 50x or 30x, since they will be looking to get the biggest score they can with their deposit, hoping they can get a prize greater than the sum of all their lost deposits.

As well as all this, the software issues need looking at, since if the software doesn't deliver, the player isn't going to play in the tournament no matter how "awesome" it is.

I see nothing wrong with this myself.
I prolly would enter it but im broke :(
Maybe its just a bad time financially for others too.

Well what I can say is that I have tried my best to please everyone but I can't do much more than that. But I hope the bonus is a nice one to take if you play the tournament or not.

Well I decided I would have a go at the tourney, so registered an account with the casino.
But... I can't deposit!

Everything was going smoothly in the cashier until the last stage when I got a "script error" message (left side below).
Regardless of whether I click Yes or No, when I try to enter my details to log in to Moneybookers nothing happens; I'm hitting the keys on my keyboard, but nothing happens on the screen. Cutting and pasting doesn't work either!

Anybody know how to fix this?

Is this the wagering tournament with the 100 credit top prize?
No, it's the wagering tournament with the €500 top prize...

I'm not really that interested in the tourney - I just want to have a go at the SUB now that they have reduced the WR to something sensible... ;)

I see.

€500 is still pretty poor for this kind of tournament (assuming it is just more bonus money that has to be wagered).

HOWEVER, the fact that there are a mere FOUR contestants, and the current leader has wagered a pitiful €300 so far................;)

Unfortunately, I will have to deal with yet another currency, the Euro. I always use the UK Pound when I can, but have used the US Dollar in a small number of places, mainly RTG.

Using anything other than the UK Pound in a Crypto puts me off. Intercasino ONLY got me on the Dollar because they were sponsoring Gone Gambling at the time - same for Club World.

Using other currencies is more expensive because of exchange fees in both directions, so I try to avoid it.

The prize money is not bonus money trust me this is a good promotion. I don't know where you guys have found something better than this. You get what you see no BS.

Internet Explorer Script Error

An Internet Explorer Script Error occurs when your web browser (Internet Explorer) experiences difficulties running a client-side script from a web site.

These scripts may be in JavaScript, JScript, or VisualBasic script.

In most cases, these errors are a result of something done by the web developer who implemented the script on the web page; there is nothing that you can do to resolve the error.
Disabling Internet Explorer Script Errors

Most of the time, Internet Exporer Script Errors are nuisances. If you are tired of seeing errors that are beyond your control, you can choose to disable the messages.

* Open Internet Explorer
* Open the Tools menu
* Select the Internet Options menu item
* Open the Advanced tab
* Check the box next to "Disable script debugging"
* Remove the check next to "Display a notification about every script error"
* Click the OK button

Just using copy/paste...:D

Usually this works, but NOT in this case. The script error prevented the Moneybookers deposit page from working.

This should be made clearer. Most promotions of this type award bonus money, even if the prizes are higher in general, you risk losing all of it through the WR.

It's a pity the casino doesn't support everybody's currency though.

Happened to get that same screen while depositing to Rival.
Clicking "Yes" a few times to keep on running the script made that error message pop-up disappear and the screen was back to normal.
The Copy/Pasted fix I posted should prevent those error messages appearing again. It's not the error itself that blocks all actions but the pop-up. So when you get rid of it, it's all good.

I just checked, and my settings were already like that... :(

What's that about "Cut & Paste"?
I did try to enter my details that way, but that didn't work either.

I got a reply from the casino saying it's Moneybookers fault and that I should contact them. But I don't know if I can be bothered. As far as I'm concerned it's the casino's problem - if they want my money, THEY should sort it out.

Just meant that the fix posted wasn't a result of my brainstorming, just copy/pasted it...:D
But yeah, once I got rid of the pop-up the deposit went smoothly.

Well I did finally manage to get my Moneybookers deposit to go though - though it took some messing about:
I went to the flash casino on my old PC, which still has Internet Explorer 6.
I still had NEARLY the same problem - no script error message this time and I still could not type in my e-mail address - but I could type in my password!
I did that & hit "enter" and a different screen came up with my e-mail address already filled in.
Unfortunately, this was not the same as the one I use for Moneybookers, but I was able to go to MB and set up an alternative e-mail. Then back to the casino where all I had to do was enter my password & BINGO - deposit went through!

Was worth it too! After a poor-ish start on the Casinomeister slot I tried the Zombie one; First spin = 2 scatters, next spin = 2 scatters, 3rd spin = 3 scatters, the bonus round and a bet x 72-ish win!
Carried on at the same stakes and had an amazing run shortly afterwards when I hit 3 bonus rounds in 6 spins - each paying bet x 72-ish again!
€455 profit in just 120 spins and 10 minutes!

Tried King Kong without success. Then, having a large bankroll, went on to some of my favourites from "the good old days" of sensible Intercasino bonuses... ;)

Love these play logs too - why can't ALL softwares do what Crypto does?
