    Caribbean Stud Poker

    Hi guys,

I have a quick question for you, what do we think of Caribbean Stud Poker online? Where can I find the best version of the game please?

I am a big fan from playing offline.

    Thanks, Judgeboy

I think most places offer this, generally with a progressive jackpot too. Personally I don't touch it, huge house edge. I'd go for 3 card instead and only play the pair plus

Thanks for info Rhyzz, I will take a look around anyways. Do you think the game is popular online in general then? I like the social aspect offline.

Apart from Roulette and BJ I am struggling to find a rocking table game.

I wouldn't say it was terribly popular no. It's good in a B&M Casino I agree, it's exciting lifting your cards to see what you've been given and screaming at how close you were to a flush or a straight (funny how you're always 1 card away from either isn't it...!)

I don't think card/poker games are that great online, I stick to Slots mainly, Blackjack bores me and Roulette eats your money far too quickly.

One thing I would say is stick to one of the bigger, more reputable operators if you're playing a progressive CSP game, you don't want to get stitched up on the jackpot if you happen to win it.

Used to be my favourite game years ago too!
(When it was allowed at 100% in bonus wagering)

All casinos have it, but personally I would avoid Microgaming as they only pay 1:1 for 2-pairs, where all other casinos pay 2:1.

Intercasino used to be great because they had multi-player tables where you could play with up to 4 other real people. They used to be really popular before the UIGEA in 2006. I think they still have the tables, but virtually no-one plays there any more.
Boss Media casinos might also have it - they definitely have multi-player roulette.

I think you will find MG Cyberstud has the best bonuses around - 100 -1 for 4OAK..

    When dealer qualified ........

    When he didn`t ............

Yes, I realise their top-end pays are higher to compensate for the poor low-end pays, but how often do you get a dealer qualified 4-of-a-kind compared to a dealer qualified 2-pair?

Personally I prefer it the other way round - lot's more small wins and slightly lower big wins, which I'm not very likely to hit anyway...

You should play Oasis Poker instead of Caribbean. The house edge of Caribbean stud is 5.22% while the house edge of Oasis is only 1.04%. The difference between Caribbean Stud and Oasis poker is that in Oasis you get to replace one of your cards for a cost of one ante.

I am more than 10K up in Cyberstud Poker overall so I'd say that sometimes you get those often
