3 card poker

I want to know more about 3 card poker...can anyone give tips about playing this game?

I want to play but i found a site with house edge and no house edge...

BetVoyager they have all types of games i never heard of. Need something to do it is getting cold outside...lol

Optimal strategy in ante and play is to raise if you have a queen/6/4 (that is a queen, 6, and 4 all in the same hand) or greater, regardless of the bonus pay table. Overall the player stands to lose 8.66% of the Ante but win 5.29% on the Raise.

Any idea whether the casino poker games at betvoyager are worth the time? They claim to have 11 games without any house edge, but are they really that much better than in a regular online casino?

Well they have "Randomness Control" which they claim ensures you are dealt a 100% random & fair game. (If you understand how that works, your IQ is much higher than mine!)
Other than that - no advantage that I can see over other casinos.

The one big drawback about their zero-edge games is that you are charged a 10% fee on any winnings you make on them when you cash-out, which I would have thought gives them a higher HA than regular casinos. (again, I'm not clever enough at maths to say if that's right or not!

Jufo and I had a pretty elaborate exchange on this subject in this thread. He explained the concept pretty well. It's worth a read.

Basically, the no house edge option ends up with a very low overall house edge with the commission. The overall edge goes up the more you play, but it stays below 1% for a long time.

Actually it is the opposite, the effective house edge goes lower the longer you play zero edge games because you get to wager more for the same commission. But it's not easy to compare the house edges this way because it depends on your playing style. Generally though, as discussed in the thread Glunn11 mentioned, the Betvoyager system is more favourable to the player in the long run, ie. less long term losses for the same amount of action.
