I haven't had a decent run since about Jan/Feb this year. Despite plenty of withdrawals, it has been a steady decline due to the lack of a substantial winning session.

I have noticed that the level of bonuses has decreased markedly, and the prizes for promotions have fallen compared with prizes for similar promotions in the past.

For example, JF scoreboard top prizes used to regularly reach $2000 - $2500 for first place. Now the prizes for what is essentially the same challenge is around $1000, even $500 in some cases.

I couldnt agree more, bonus rounds are so tough, retriggers even worse, new games are butal, it seems something with M/G has markedly changed.....but they will never admit it. It has gotten so bad that I have closed all but 2 of my 18 M/G accounts.

    My Results

I can only go back using the transaction history until around July when we (US) were all switched to the new US platform, but I'm up about 25k since then. I'm pretty sure that I was ahead before then, too but not by anything close to that number.

I mostly play VP- DDB and BDW with bet sizes $10-$25/hand. I do miss aces and faces level up poker. I did very well there.

I still use bonuses when I can and I play about 30% slots. Halloweenies has been pretty good, but really big wins don't happen anymore for me. I can remember several times when bonus retriggers happened and getting really big wins. I still occasionally get retriggers, but it seems like the wins are pretty frequent, but also small. I like Halloweenies because I seem to get a bunch of features, and that is the fun of it for me.

Some of the very experienced and knowledgable VP players here have mentioned that things are markededly different for them since this year, but this hasn't been my experience at all. I play at Riverbelle (up the most), Casinoshare (up), Vegas Slots (down) and Villento (down).

I just got 4 aces w/a duece last night for $10k. I'd be up a bunch more if I was more careful. I pissed away +3K a week ago and +4k the week before that.

Something has definately changed with MG.
A while ago I said MG now plays like RTG.
Have to stand corrected, MG plays even worse than RTG.
I play this software for almost 3 years now, and I cannot remember ever having these kind of nightmaresessions that I got the past 5 weeks.
On many occasions I could not even play through my money TWICE.
And thats not because of bad money management or playing too high stakes.
Playing the Thunderstruck clones is like playing Scary Rich in a bad mood.

CentreCourt, once one of my top favourite games, used to trigger loads of feautures and retriggers were not at all rare, they happened very often.
Last time I got a retrigger? Have to go back to April this year.

The only one of my favourites that still gives me at least some playtime and a decent return now and then is.. Break da Bank Again.
And that one is supposed to be VERY high variance..

Couldn't agree more with Centre Court. Probably my all time favorite MG slot. Earlier this year I went about 1200 spins without getting three of those damn balls lol. And this slot always treated me well before.

Thats probably my biggest gripe about MG these days...the small wins are still there....but the features are getting farther and farther apart. The only ones where the free spins still pop up with any kind of regularity are Munckins/HoHoHo/Twister.

And yes, the Thunderstruck clones are pretty dismal, especially that Adventure one or whatever you call it. I don't think retriggers are possible on that one

Surprisingly, the ultra high variance Isis is the only game I can get anywhere with these days.

My gambling has been entirely self-funding since 2001.
I've made profit every single year since then using casino's bonuses.
In the "good old days" I even went 26 consecutive months without losing! (Jan 02 to Feb 04).
It is a lot harder these days - but I'm still going.

Well it's true I've had a bad few months; June was my last good one, though I'm definitely heading for a good result in October (See the GV screenshots thread).
But on top of that I don't want to become a bore by keep going on about it - I know it irritates some people.

That is the most fatal error you can make. Been there - got the T-shirt!
Not too often though, thank goodness.

Yes (those that are left after MGS took them away) Nothing decent since I rinsed Purple Lounge early in the year
